It's goes to show that money does buy nice facilities in your neighborhood. The Cheviot Hills park off Motor and Pico has a great facility with an auditorium, BBQ pits, baseball field, children's playa area, a community room and a little gym.
They also have onsite a kitchen, a stage, a jogging path and an archery range. There always seems to be a lot of programs going on there like baseball, basketball, football, archery, karate, soccer, volleyball, etc. I've also seen that they summer programs for the kids.
For people who arent interested in that, they have the "softer" programs such as art, ballet, music, parent and me classes, chess, parent-night outs, drama, dance, aerobics, yoga, etc.
I wish I lived closer. You have to call the office to get a current schedule as things often change.
