I was so disappointed to see these subpar reviews of my favorite drycleaners that I felt compelled to add my two cents, even though I normally don't write reviews for anything. \r \r It's unfortunate that things didn't work out for the previous reviewers. Personally, I've been going to this drycleaners for the past 5 years. I've entrusted the owner, Heidi, with all of my best and most expensive clothes. To this date, my family and I have never had any issues with our clothes. And because I come with so much stuff on such a regular basis, Heidi continues to offer me discounts and exceptional service. Heidi is seriously the sweetest lady out there. There's a slight language barrier, but we nonetheless have great conversations during each visit. \r \r The greatest thing I like about this cleaners is that they've recently switched to environmentally friendly drycleaning. My clothes feel great and brand new. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that Heidi is an expert in almost all types of alterations. She's definitely the person to see if anyone needs any repairs. more

They lost my down comforter and tried to give me one that was a different size and pattern. I had already paid for the cleaning fee, and they refuse to refund it. I had to pay $320 for a new comforter and they will also not compensate me for any of that amount as well. 5 weeks went by, I would stop in once a week and every time the owner would say, ""let me take down your number and we will check"". I have never received even a courtesy call. more

I would have to agree with the first reviewer. I brought an expensive dress in to have a repair and the worker and I decided to have the dress dry cleaned. The cleaners called a few days later and said the beads on the dress were ""melted"". Their primary concern was that it was not their fault because they couldn't have know this would happen. Unfortunately I am left with a dress that is unwearable - and they did nothing to compensate for this mishap. more

Learn from my mistake and avoid this dry cleaner. When I picked up two items this afternoon, the woman (only employee I've see there) informed me that she would be charging an additional $2 more than what was quoted since she mispriced one of my items. I argued that I should not pay more than the written quote since it was her own mistake and given to me in writing in advance. We actually argued over this for a few minutes since she refused to honor the quote, discount the price, offer a coupon, or simply do anything to retain my business. I realize that this seems trivial over $2, which is why I eventually paid and left, but I was appalled at her complete lack of business sense - this woman actually preferred to argue with and lose a customer over $2. I should have gone to the cleaners on Aurora next to PCC, which uses environmentally friendly products and must have better service than Greenwood Cleaners. Cons: terrible service more
