I had to have my Mother of the Bride dress altered and my son needed his groomsmen pants shortened. Jenny did this quickly & efficiently. This was my first time at having alterations done, so I don't know much about the pricing. I figure that the 'old' saying, "You get what you pay for", works in this case and I feel as though I got a GREAT deal!! Jenny did a fantastic job at a reasonable price (especially since I had beading on my dress). I will use Jenny for any alteration needs in the future and I'm so very happy I 'found' her!

The carpet company come out and cleaned all my carpets.I had to do in two increments.The first tech was very good,my husband was not well,so he made sure to put a big fan in the bedroom so it would get dry before bedtime,was very considerate of my husband.the next tech who did my living room and couch was also very good.i would certainly recommend them to my friends.Keep up the good work.

This shop does quality work and their prices are comparable to other tailors. Anytime I've paid less I have had to sacrifice the quality level. My customers expect quality clothing from me and this store does a very good job on my adjustments.

After having several bad experiences with other local dry cleaners in Wallingford, I am happy to say I found Ramona Cleaners several years ago and have had consistently excellent service since then. They don't have big sales or coupons, but I believe in this case you do pay for what you get - excellent service and excellent dry cleaning. Clothing is always clean and back when promised. I love this place! My mom referred them to me and I have gone there ever since. Take in to mind there is only 2 people working there and they have half of Seattle wanting dresses made and alterations done, alterations don't take that long but having a dress made may take you a month. If you allow yourself enough time and call before you go pick up your items you'll be fine. I had a dress made for one of my drill team members white w/sequins and it only cost me $25. My new years eve dress was a size too big and they altered it to perfection. Our drill team banner was sewn there and it is flawless. I took 2 pair of pants to have zippers replaced and I took a shirt to be altered. The shirt was waaay too big. They did all 3 for $13. I refer them to all of my drill team parents for having sweat suits and dresses altered. I live in SeaTac and I drive to Seattle just to go to Adam's. It's worth it to me and I'm very picky!

I've taken my things to Diane's from a coat alteration to jeans. I forget how much they charged me for the coat (maybe $26 or something?) but pants hemming is just $10 plus tax.
They would first tell you the date it will be done (usually about a week), but if you ask them if they could rush it a bit and have something by certain date (I did this once when I was going on a trip the following week), they will work with you.
I've been satisfied with their work thus far, and they have dressing rooms, so you can take the shoes you'll wear with the dress and have them pin it to match the height.
P.S. They also have a person doing alterations at Village Cleaners in the U Village Mall, and I know she does formal dress alterations as well. The turnaround time may be slower, however. They said she's busy because it's wedding season. She's only there M-Th.

Hard to get all excited about a dry cleaner, but I have to crow for these guys. As Rich puts it in his review, they have been in the same location for 15+ years and are part of the community. (The owners live in the next block.)
We have taken dry cleaning and shirts to them for as long as they have been there and they never let us down. Recently I took a seat cover to them that had a nail polish stain out and they got it out completely (I had tried the usual home methods to no avail).
Jay and Kathy own it; Kathy runs it and does the alterations. She does excellent work and the price is fair (if a bit steep - you get what you pay for).

Even though I no longer live in the immediate neighborhood, I make a pilgrimmage there as I have trusted them with my dry cleaning needs for ten years. They are reasonably priced, in a great location (with parking and on the bus line), and very fast & friendly.
I had left Seattle for a few years & upon my return, they even remembered me! They are always very friendly & I couldn't recommend a better dry cleaner.
