Alternative to Wal-mart 10/23/2005

Fred Meyer, a local chain with stores throughout the northwest, sells everything from salmon to makeup. These stores often have great sales on fresh produce and constant coupons on items for the home. The one complaint I have about Fred Meyer is that sometimes the seafood and produce here do not look like something that I want to buy. This only happens occasionally though and it seems to happen most often in the South King County locations. Otherwise this is a great place to shop for a student or anyone else on a budget. As an added bonus when you enter the store you know you are not aiding and abetting a corporation who does not care about the rights of its employees. more

Great Junior Clothes 6/25/2005

Always a sale, clearance is almost always marked from 30 to 50 % off, they have a good selection of jeans, cute little tops, such as screen tees. I got an outfit for summer total 20 bucks just shopping in the clearance section and it was CUTE!! Everyone asked where I got it . Compared to other Dept stores the selection is pretty good and prices are competitive. I love the selection of Mudd, Union Bay and Lei. And its not a mess . Its hard to shop when things arent organized. When I go there theres always staff working right in there or near there keeping it nice and neat. Stop by for a good deal on your Junior Clothes! more
