This gym started out with great promise but, like so many other gyms, has fallen into disrepair. Hoping to climb on that treadmill? Sorry, it's broken. So is the one next to it...

AWFUL CLUB! STAY AWAY. READ CITYSEARCH REVIEWS 2/13/2008

First off, I don't write reviews lightly. Next: Horrid place. For 70$ a month, you will get: machines constantly broken, Tv's constantly broken. Not much variety as far as cardio. During morning and evening rush hours EVERY parking space will be full, EVERY machine will be busy-they oversold, even if they tell you they cap their membership. GREED. Steam room/dry sauna take turns being out of order, and when not, they are filthy and dingy. They just retiled the steam room, the new tile is already cracking a month later-complete incompetence. The juice bar is totally overpriced, the food horrible, and the store is packed with their logo branded garbage which is hideous and poorly made. The place is full of snooty snobby wasps/yuppies, but fine, its a silicone kind of place, I can live with it, maybe you can too. This next one shows complete disregard for their customers by management: theres a group of athletes whether basketball or football who come in almost every day and stay almost all morning being extremely loud and obnoxious, ogling women, taking up a bunch of machines at the same time, and doing sprints right through the common walking area. You have GOT to be kidding me. The management in this place is truly pathetic. Oh, and shockingly, the management decided to add a yearly $25 equipment maintenance fee to my bill, and I assume every other member's because the $70 isn't nearly enough to maintain the place in decent condition. FUNNY THING: ITS NOT IN MY CONTRACT! My membership is up soon, after almost 2 years, and I am so happy to be out. To think I used to complain about 24-hour. YOU ARE A JOKE FIT! I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON. more

Best Yoga classes and trendy workout spot 2/18/2006

This gym is expensive, but definitely worth the money if you can afford it. The sign-up fee is around $200 and the monthly dues will run you approximately $80. The space is completely modern with top of the line cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. They offer self-defense, Pilates, yoga, boot camp and many other challenging classes. They also have a complete kickboxing studio and Pilates studio equip with reformers, a Cadillac and more. The instructors are truly gifted and the coffee bar even brews fresh starbucks’ coffee. more

Top gym in Houston 2/1/2006

FIT can seem a little intimidating at first, but I've found it's a great place to work out. They offer a ton of classes and have a separate cycling studio, which I love. Self defense classes are offered, but are extra. If you're not into group exercise, they have the most cardio equipment I've seen. And they all face enormous windows to give a good view of downtown. Or you can plug in your earphones and watch TV. Towel service is provided, and the locker rooms are spacious and clean. They also have a cafe (with Starbucks) so you can grab a bite or protein shake or nonfat, sugar free vanilla latte! TIP: If you're looking to join, be sure to tell them where you work. They may be able to offer a discount. more

Good place but... 8/12/2005

Need to be healthy, well this is the place for all your fitness needs if you kow what to do. Since I'm a novice in fitness, I had to bother many times the staff.... Well this is a mistake. They are very unfriendly and do not bother them at all cost. If you know what you are doing, you're alright but this was not my case. I went to another fitness club. Not recommended unless you know what you are doing. Definetly not for me. more
