Extra Ingredient The

I have been shopping here ever since I moved to Greensboro a few years ago. I recommend it to everyone I know. I've always been greeted with smiles and helpful advise when I've gone and found it enjoyable. However, when I was in a frantic search of a sauce the other night, I quickly stopped by. I realize it was about 10 minutes to closing and know better than to be 'that person' so I left my purse in the car just to ask if they had it so I could return in the morning. The blond woman with glasses whom I've never seen before was just so unbelievably rude! Glaring at me, shaking her head at me and just said 'NO!', before I could even finish my question. I was totally taken aback. I shop there because I enjoined helpin out a smal business and friendly environment, but for those prices, I will be going to Whole Foods from now on. Never again. more

The Extra Ingredient is a nice store in Friendly Shopping Center and they have the best selection of coffees. I tend to like a sweeter blend, almost cappucino, and they have an entire section of coffee and teas. The prices are a little steep, but they always have what I am looking for! The ladies that work there are very nice as well. more

I went to the Extra Ingredient today and loved it! My sister and I went together and we found so many cute things. The prices were a little more than I usually pay (as I am an extreme bargain shopper), but overall I would spend some money there. They had a huge selection of teas and coffees and tons of really cute dishwear and teapots. I loved all the pastas and sauces, soups and utensils. We had fun and I actually got inspired to cook. more
