I go the great stops on N.Church St. greensboro about at least once everyday. Everytime i do visit the cashiers are nice and friendly. The Check cashier Tasia knows me and a few of my friends by name, and she does everything in her power to cash my checks. The store has a very friendly and kind atmosphere the bathrooms are always spotless and so is the laundry room. The cashiers are beautiful and always smiling. If you every need to pick me up from a bad day at work, i suggest you stop by. Its all in the name GREAT STOPS is a great place to stop. The gas is cheapest in town, great customer service and a clean freindly atmosphere what else is there to say. i just wish i could get a phone number from one of those cashiers.

The Extra Ingredient is a nice store in Friendly Shopping Center and they have the best selection of coffees. I tend to like a sweeter blend, almost cappucino, and they have an entire section of coffee and teas. The prices are a little steep, but they always have what I am looking for! The ladies that work there are very nice as well.

Garden Ridge is a huge store that seems to have a little bit of everything. They typically have great prices, and if you hit a sale, you will really leave with some deals! If you are in to crafts, they have a wide assortment of supplies. I have found great stamps and stickers for scrapbooking. They also have a lot of artificial plants and outdoor furniture.

I just moved down here to go to school. We were able to furnish my whole apartment, although small, from just this one store. Bedroom, living room and kitchen table. Delivery was just $50 dollars. I don't know if this is the standard rate for down here, but up north it would have been a minimum of $100.00. They delivered it and set it up! I purchased on saturday and they had it at my apartment buy thursday. Oh yea! And the prices are good too.
Pros: Quick Delivery, Great selection
Cons: Almost to Big

You may think this store is just a Nursery type store because of the name but its way more than that... They carry craft supplies, seasonal items, bridal stuff, scrapbooking, rugs, household items, plants you name it they will have it. If you haven't been there trust me when I say you have to go.

New Garden Landscaping is a terrific place to shop and find the perfect lanscaping products. They are a little pricey, but you will always find different stuff. They are defintely not like Home Depot or Lowes, because they are smaller and better. The flowers and trees are of a better quality and the people are definitely very friendly! Drive to Lawndale and visit this beautiful arranged landscaping store.

I've virtually always found exactly the look that I want, in the fabric or wood that I want. There's a good array of designer and classic/simple styles, Finding a salesperson can be spotty, and you have to be able to take with you whatever you buy. However, it's always my top, or one of my top, choices for myself and for friends visiting from outside the State on furniture hunting trips.
Pros: Good price values, very large selection, easy to reach
Cons: spotty sales help, no delivery, checkout not so easy

I have been nothing but pleased with Randy's Quilt Shop. The owner has employed the nicest and very knowledgeable people. The store offers competitive prices on many different type sewing machines (basic, sergers, embroidering). Also, sewing maintenance/tune-ups are available. I feel that the store caters more to quilters than to other crafters (esp those who sew). However, they have expanded their store (not only more space but more selection) to include hand-dyed yarns and a crochet/knitting corner. Their yarn selection is to vibrant and wonderful! Beautiful, gorgous yarns! I find the fabric to be on the expensive side -- but I am not a quilter, so I tend to want to buy in larger quantities than your average quilter does. I will say they do have the most beautiful fabric in town. They often have sales so don't let the fabric prices keep you away.

My hubby and I went inside Fleet Plummer the other day and fell in love! We had a blast looking at all the unusual stock that they carry. We browsed through Brighton purses and watches, designer clothes, patio furniture, Christmas decorations, garden decor, and lots more. It was the kind of store that we could both go into and enjoy. Usually it is either Best Buy and he's in love or Ross and I am in love! This was a store we can both go to!
