Excellent customer service! Take notes Audi dealership... 2/26/2012

We had an Audi that needed a repair ASAP, and while the dealership couldn't get us in for a couple of weeks, I found ECL on the internet by chance and when I called they invited me to come in right away. Not only were they courteous, they maintained communication with me and kept me updated on the repairs at all times. They had to order parts and everything, yet I got the car back in two days time. It was going to take a little longer, but they personally travelled to pick up a part themselves to speed up the process because they knew i needed the car back asap. Thank you again Matthew! We will take our car back there without hesitation, and I recommend this place to anyone who wants great service! Definitely go check them out. Pros: null Cons: null more

Most honest, caring and experienced...so worth it! 5/31/2011

I have had the opportunity to go to European Cars for several years now with my 13 year old BMW, and cannot say enough postive feedback about the service, expertise and price! This is also evidenced by many that I have referred who have also experienced a most positive result. When you don't know alot about cars, it can be nerve wrecking to have a problem. What I have found is that no question goes unanswered, is fully explained to my satisfaction, and that the price is the most reasonable around for BMW. Also, that the customer certainly matters - and the motto of the organization is apparent...that the customer is pleased with the results! I would recommend European Cars to any who need car service from people who know what they are doing, can explain the issue and price the fix accordingly. They can even direct you to an appropriate service should they not support your needs - mine was a tear in leather apolstery. i was not steered wrong! You can trust all who are there and know that Phil and his team support a postive experience as well as positive results! more

Let me preface this rating with the fact that I'm a lifelong resident of the Houston Memorial area. I drive a Volkswagen and as any Houston resident knows- there are hundreds if not thousands of repair and body shops to take an import in Houston. more

Pretty good 1/17/2011

I would have given this shop five stars, but there was a bit of an issue. I took my VW into the shop to be repaired. Its getting older and starting to have more issues. They are definitely affordable and do good work, but the issue I experienced was this. Upon picking my car up after the repair was finished, I went to put the extended warranty informtion back into the glove box and the handle broke in my hand. I noticed that it appeared that it was opened in a very rough manner. I called the shop and received a call back from the owner stating that they would "take care of the issue and were very sorry it happened". I then later received a call back from another employee with a price, and never mentioning the fact that I was told it would be "taken care of". So here I am, with a glove box that has its handle broken off and I did not break it. So, that issue was a little disappointing. But mechanically they fixed the car correctly. more

Wonderful Experience, Highly Recommend! 11/15/2008

After having horrible experiences with my Houston Audi dealer, I didn't have high hopes in their being able to correctly diagnose my 2002 A6's problem, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were absolutely wonderful. My dealer incorrectly diagnosed my car's problem with an estimate of $4300!! They said I needed new Cam Adjusters, belts, etc...Thank GOD I didn't let them fix my car. Pros: Charged a fair price, kept good communication, very friendly Cons: None more

Strongly recommended 6/1/2008

I haven't been there in a while, but strongly recommend Phil to anyone who owns an Audi, BMW, or Porsche. He worked on my Audi's for years, and later serviced my 911's as well. The shop is spotless, they communicate very well, provide alternatives, and are absolutely honest. Pros: Very skilled, Good Communicators, Incredibly honest Cons: Very busy, sometimes have to wait a while, but that's the price of success! more

Porsche BMW AUDI mechanic 5/15/2007

These guys have been servicing my wife's BMW for 10 years, and now are servicing my Porsche Boxster. I recently had the mechanism behind the ignition switch replaced. I'm afraid to think of what I would have been charged at the dealership. They're friendly, honest, and let you know if the repair is necessary and just fix what's broken. Phil the owner is a great guy and from what I understand his mechanics used to work at a local Porsche dealership. Plus it's only two blocks from my house in a quiet neighborhood. Unmatched service and quality! 2/15/2007

I went to European Cars Limited as a total car novice and a new customer. I had recently purchased a new Jetta and didnt want to go to the dealership as I have heard a lot of bad things (mainly customer service, cost) . The owner of European Cars Limited walked me through the maintence process and never once was too busy to answer any of my questions. The techs there are super nice and are not your typical 'grease monkeys". They are all very knowlegeable and even go through schooling annually to keep up to speed with new technology. I would definently recommend this shop to anyone driving a European car. They quickly made me switch from new 'customer' into a lifelong client!
