I rarely ever write reviews on here because I typically do not care enough however, this needs to be addressed. I visited this salon for hair color and decided to go ahead and get a trim. Well my trim looks like a hack job. The front of my hair is 4 inches shorter than the back and I have layers starting above my ear. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. The staff at this salon are also VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The lady who did my hair was talking negatively about another client and hair dresser to me the whole time. She proceded to get into a confrontation with another staff member putting me in the middle. I was told to call if there was something that I didn't like but I did not do so because I don't trust them to fix this mess of a hair cut. If you are looking for nice, trendy, upscale salon THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The color is okay at best. Pros: nothing really Cons: unprofessional, worst cut of my life more

I have been a customer of this Salon for at least a year now (more likely, 2 years). I love everyone in the Salon. My stylist is Samina, but I have had my hair done once or twice by some of the others. I have naturally thick, frizzy, wavy/curly hair and Samina has helped me grow it out from a short bob to the long hair I have now, letting me play with various colors over the years, but always complimentary ones for my skin tone. For an event, she and Krysti helped me do a retro look using finger waves. It was really cool and I felt like a million bucks! I also recommend going to Komo for waxing or eyebrow threading. After she threaded my eyebrows the first time, I have never waxed them again. I have really sensitive skin and am prone to get ingrowns in the eyebrows after waxing, but with threading-- no ingrowns! And she's so fast and efficient.\r \r I will be coming here for a LONG, LONG time! more

Two months ago I walked into Estee Salon without an appointment in sheer panic. My hair color looked muddy with a green tint. Over the past week I had been to 2 different salons in the Raleigh area for highlights and low lights. The first stylist gave me highlights which after a couple of washes turned my hair platinum blonde, which I did not want to be. Instead of going back tthis stylist, I decided to go to another salon where I have gone before. I asked for low lights which turned my hair ash grey. Horrible! I then went back the next day and had another stylist try to fix it because I was desperate. She put more low lights and said she definitely had taken the ash out. By the next day I noticed a green tint and the color was looking pretty muddy. And that's where Estee Salon all began. Krysti came to my rescue and after taking time to talk and listen to me and consulting with others at the salon my hair was where I wanted it to be originally. Unfortunately it took over a week to achieve this but at least now I know what salon and what stylist I will be going to from now on. I was there today for highlights and lowlights and a cut and again Krysti listened and fully understood what I wanted. She did a wonderful job with the color and I love the haircut. I've gone to this salon a few times for eyebrow trimming from Komal and haircuts from Annie and would highly recommend their services. It's nice to walk into a salon and feel that the employees treat each other with respect, because that to me also translates in how they treat their customers. Pros: all natural, great service more

This salon was recommended to me by a friend. It was a last minute appointment, and the first time I had let a stylist near my hair for two years. In short, the stylist listened to what I told her, and worked with me to give me a great colour and cut. It's taken a long time for me to want to go back to a stylist, but I will be going back to Krysti. Many thanks for all you did, Krysti, you went above and beyond. more

A few weeks ago, I went to eSTee salon for a first time. I was scared to take chance and try a new hairstylist. My hairdresser Ania Mach was very friendly and professional. She not helped me get the best style for my hair type but also gave me style tips and help with care. I ended up with an incredible new style that is much easier to manage at home. I have also never had so many compliments before now. I love my new look! Thank you, Ania Mach! Pros: Best hairstyle I have had in a long time Cons: None more

This is the only hair salon I've gone to since I lived here. I moved here for my first 'real' job and felt I needed a professional look. Ania cut my hair into a gorgeous bob that looked great up unti the next hair cut she gave me. I gave her a strange request on this one: a haircut for long hair. Even though my hair wasn't grown out as much as I had wanted, I just wanted her to help establish a shape for its future length. Its grown out a good bit and looks fabulous. This review is overdue, but I'll be going back again and asking for Ania soon. I've never had a favorite stylist in a place I enjoy going to, therefore making Estee Salon a real treat. Annie is the best hair stylist. She took my badly damaged hair to it new shinny and healthy state. My hair continues to grow longer and thicker by the week. Both my mother and I swear by Annie. What I love most about the service I receive at the salon is the fact that I don't feel rushed. I am given more than adequate time to discuss my desired outcome. However, I feel very confident telling Samina "do what you want, just make it fun and sassy." She takes great direction. I never see anyone in the area with the same cut!! (very important to me) All of the stylists are very experienced and up to date on the latest fashions. I reccommend Estee Salon to all of my friends. IF you haven't tried the eyebrow threading, it is a MUST. You will never use wax again!! Pros: Great Price, Awesome Service Cons: none more

I've lived in Raleigh 20 years and have been to many hair stylists. I'll never go to anyone else again. I put my trust in Ania to totally changed my hair color. I've always been a brunette and I left with fabulous blonde highlights! I love it and so does everyone else. Also, my 19 year old will not let anyone but Ania cut her hair!
