I had to write a review in regard to Annie. I see she gets alot of good feedback but I didn't have a good experience. I went to Annie the first time, last year in 2010 for several months. Not long after, my hair was was shedding. It shed to the point of concern. I have naturally long hair. It's pretty fine and I am African American. I wanted to find out if it was Annie's fault so I went to a different salon. Guess what? My hair thickened up some and didn't shed so much. It was much healthier after several months. I went back to Annie which was dumb of me. My stylist left the last salon and I was without a stylist for a short time. I go back to Annie in June of 2011 and guess what after 2 weeks. Hair is shedding again. I do not get perms so the only possible reason is she is leaving shampoo or something in my hair. I also noticed she put a lot of heat on the roots of my hair or my scalp when she was drying my hair. She focused on a certain area and I had hair coming out by the root in that area. It kind of burned the hair considering again my hair is fine. She think I don't know this. She thinks she's so sneaky and intelliigent but you know what. What goes around comes back around when you do evil. That's why she don’t have a man, will never have a good man and she's fat. She said she would open up her own salon soon. Just don’t be slim and pretty with no kids with your real hair cause she will try to make it come out. I tried to get my money back from the crazy(that’s how she came across on the phone) owner Mena and just like her culture who are known to be cheap, she would not give me my $60 bucks back. This is after I told her my last hair experience with Annie. She didn't care and was yelling and screaming on the phone at me. I'm upset, my hair is coming out. It's already fine. I said well I'm going to tell the truth about my experience with you guys. The reason I wanted my money back was my hair was falling out of my head pretty bad and my hair was frizzy when my curls came out the last time Annie did my hair. She did not dry my hair completely. One more thing, Annie would not use the top of the line products like Morrocan Oil on my hair when I asked her. I bought my own from Estee just so she would use it. Benita, the receptionish told me the had some in the back when Annie acted like there was none when she would wash my hair. What kind of people are these. They are very unhappy ones and take things out on the client. I’m standing up for all customers that pay a lot of money to get their hair done from horrible people like Estee. Annie, now see why certain things have happened to you. You know you did some things for my hair to shed. We both know you did. Even you admitted when I came back, my hair had filled in some. I shouldn't have given you another shot. I want to see the best in people but some people are just rotten to the core and that's the bottom line. There is nothing you can do with unhappy miserable people that want to make you as ugly as they are.
