A Nite Out 8/17/2005

Empire Room is not a bad place to hang out on weekend...or even weekday (I went on a Monday once and it was fun). It's a good place if you want to dance and see a mix crowd and get good drinks at not such a hefty fee. It cost $5 to get in the door and then you can party the night away. There's a dance area and a lounge area also. There are couches set right in front of the dance floor and a little stage area. Downstairs are small tables and beds.....currently its closed...not sure why...may be due to renovations. Overall, it's not a bad place to hang out. more

Weekend hot spot 8/14/2005

The Empire Room is located near a few other bars in the area that are in walking distance, and it is an alright place to go and have a few drinks. It has gotten really popular over the last few years, and it seems to be the trendy place to go. The have a $5.00 cover, and teh DJ's aren't really that good. I liked it better when they played techno and house music, and now they play pop rap and r and b music which isn't very good. more

Dance! 8/2/2005

The Empire Room is another bar that is located in the martini district of midtown kc. This bar gets super busy friday-monday. The hottest DJ's around, and where everyone goes to have a great time, and relax with their friends. Fast and friendly bartenders. Come early, because it is hard to get it! more
