Penn Valley Community College has a wide variety of classes, and even has a childcare center located in the building. The design and theatre departments are very good for a community college, and it is a great way to start out your first two years of college in a cheap, educational way.

UMKC has met all my expectations. It is a great school in a great location with a lot of great people. I know that it has some flaws but all in all it is a great place to become good at what you want to be. I am a junior in their computer science degree and so far other than a couple of bad teachers here and there I have loved my education at UMKC

I had nothing but a great exprience at Longview. I recently transfered to Bowling Green State University in Ohio and only one class from Longview failed to transfer over to the new school. I was very happy with this sucess rate. The clasees and professors I feel prepared me for the next level in my education. The science department is very strong and I enjoyed the biology and geology courses. I would consider this school if you are unsure about your college future. Great location as well. Right by the lake...

I got my associates from Penn Valley and have been very happy. Penn Valley has quite a few medical associates programs including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Nursing. It is a good place to get actual career training if you don't want to get your bachelors. It is located in the city and is a short car ride away from most surrounding suburbs. Their tuition is very reasonable and most of the instructors are very good. If you are interested in a health care career give Penn Valley a try.

I went to DeVry Institute of Technology in Kansas City between 1986-1988. This was before they became "DeVry University". I completed the ET program and finished with an A.S. in Electronics. At that time they were very attentive to help with housing for their students. They had a number of area apartments where they arranged for 4 of us to share a 2 bedroom (furnished) apartment. I don't know if they still do this. I enjoyed the classes and the instructors then. Again, I don't know how many of my instructors are still there, if any. If DeVry has maintained what they used to do, then it is a great place to get your education.
