I'm not much of a barbeque fan, but I definitely enjoy eating at Gates Bar-B-Q. It is homestyle barbeque and it sure is delicious. They have fries, potato salad, chicken, ribs, pickles, and different flavor of barbeque.
Parking is plenty and easy. Anytime I have guest from out of town coming in, I either order a platter to go or eat inside. The food is definitely one of the best barbeques around.
Note though, I wouldn't recommend eating here alone at night. =)

The atmosphere is small and comfortable. It is located right by the City Market and Downtown. It is definitely a good place to try without burning a hole in your pocket.

TB's Hair Salon is one of the best hair salon in Kansas City. The stylist are friendly and very knowledgeable. They are good at keeping up to date with the latest hair styles. At the best part is that you can get a great hair cut at a friendly place at a great deal. Other salons would charge at least double the price for the style and service that you get here. I don't trust anyone else with my hair but them!

I get the same feel from both parks. There's all kinds of rides and for all ages. This is definitely something fun for the family.

I love this area of town. On the weekends, you can find restaurants and clubs to go to. There are concerts scheduled at times. The City Market is just a fun area. On a weekend morning, you can go to the farmer's market and get fresh fruit and vegetables at a very affordable price. You can shop around and eat. Nice place to be.

If you never been, it's a definite must see in K.C. They have a restaurant inside too, in case you get hungry from walking around. On Fridays, admittance is free.

This is a good theater to go to if you want to watch old movies or foreign films. The seats are normal theater seating. The customer service is good. The theater is located right in westport...so after a movie, it would be convenient to just go down the street and grab something to eat or drink. Parking is also easy too...there's space available either in front or right across the street in the parking lot.
