The subs here are worth every penny. This place is the real deal, a true highlight on an otherwise mediocre, upscale, overpriced hilltop. Don't expect alot of ambience here, but...

Good Pizza by the slice 3/3/2013

This is a good option for Pizza by the slice and hot sandwiches. The eatery itself is small and no specific kid amenities although... more

Worst service ever!! 2/15/2009

We ordered a pizza on phone and asked for delivery. We paid the money and delivery fee and 18% tip to the delivery guy. Then we realized the pizza was all burnt, the sun-dry tomorrow toppings were all black. We called them to tell them the pizza was burnt.... the guy who answered the phone asked how burnt the pizza was... we said we could drive over there with the pizza and let him look at it himself.... guess what the guy said... he said"" you guys gave us enough touble, we don't want your business anymore!"".....Wowww, that kind of service???? Very rude!!! more

Excellent subs! 8/2/2006

The decor is something to be desired. But what they lack in decor they make up for in taste. Some of my buddies and I came in after soccer practice and we all ordered subs. We could not finish them, they were huge, and this is a group of big guys. The bread is so fresh and they are quick! My favorite is the French dip and my girlfriend likes it too. Pros: Good food, great subs, they deliver!! Cons: Ambiance, rude staff more

Excellent Subs Every Time 7/21/2006

The subs here are worth every penny. This place is the real deal, a true highlight on an otherwise mediocre, upscale, overpriced hilltop. Don't expect alot of ambience here, but the bare-bones interior and consistent, quality subs remind me of a childhood growing up in and around pizzerias in New Jersey, which is quite a task to measure up to. One of my favorite places to go in QA, and we have been to them all. Pros: Excellent Subs, Delivery more

Quizno's can suck it. 4/19/2003

While I appreciate what Quizno's is trying to do with the toasted sub thing, they don't hold a candle to Elliot Bay Pizza Co. I kid you not, the BEST sandwiches not only in the city but in the world. I've been there three times and had three different subs (a yards worth). Each time.... Perfection. I haven't even tried the pizza yet because the sandwiches are so damn good. Pros: The perfect sandwich!, No nonsense., CHEAP!!! Cons: No atmosphere., Its on Queen Anne., Queen Anne sucks. more

Pretty rude person 1/23/2003

Somebody who answers the phone there is pretty rude. He completely hung up on me for no reason. Come on. We're all people here. No need to be rude. more

Primo pizza 8/14/2002

The best yet...much better than Pagliacci! Well baked but not burnt, lots of toppings - husband claims the subs are also excellent. more

Best sandwiches in the city! 5/27/2002

They have the best hot sub sandwiches; it's the bread that makes it--chewy, flavorful, crusty. Quizzno's doesn't even compare. The variety of sandwich combos is extensive, but my absolute favorite is the turkey sandwich--really simple with turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and mustard, topped with bubbling hot, toasty mozzarella. I've had the pizzas, too, and they have a distincts taste, very saucy with a crispy yet chewy crust. My husband says it reminds him of Vancouver (BC)-style pizza. They're also quite satisfying. They offer some sidewalk tables outside the restaurant. During the lunch rush, there are quite a few people waiting to pick up take out orders, so the wait on your sandwich might be longer than usual. Pros: Sidewalk seating, Self-serve soda, Frequent buyer card Cons: Ambience more
