Dunn Healthcare Center

I am sorry to say, I cannot recommend Dunn Clinic or Dr. Ray anymore. I had been going to the clinic for 2 years but recently had a bad experience not only with one of his ""fill in docs"" but also with his staff directed by him. He was unavailable and I saw his ""fill in doc"". For 2 days afterwards I could barely walk and I had to go back and have Dr. Ray readjust me. After Dr. Ray adjusted me I felt much better but I felt I should not have to pay my $30 co-pay due to the fact I was in worse shape and I had to deal with 2 days of immobility and getting retreated. I was very nice about it and said if Dr. Ray has a problem with it, please have him call me. It was clear to me the other Dr. either misadjusted me or did something else wrong as I had never had that experience before. I want back a few months later for another adjustment. They refused to see and said they would have to refer me. I was dumbfounded! Then I asked to pick up my records to give to a new Dr. and the office person said that they would have to charge me for those records and they could do so by law. I challenged her on this and she then said, ""well, we are allowed to charge you"". So, not only did they mistreat and injure me more, then then refused to treat me because I would not pay the $30 co-pay (they got paid well by my insurance company) and then they wanted to charge me more for MY records and lied about they legally having to charge me. Dr. Ray and his staff have become much more concerned about making money and billing as much as they can than about patient care. I would recommend Nashville Chiropractic over at 100 oaks because they will not use a ""fill in"" doc and offer a more hands on and personal experience, in my opinion. more

I can't say enough great things about Dunn Clinic and their amazing staff. Dr. Ray is by far the best chiropractor I've been to, and he takes the time to understand your unique situation and customizes treatment to specifically resolve whatever issues you're having. As a small female, he knows the exact pressure to use to adjust me how I need it without hurting me or holding back too much. He has even gone so far as to compare my medical records with my primary physician when multiple doctors couldn't figure out why I would always feel completely unrested after a full night's sleep. Because he helped me get to the bottom of the issue, we ruled out any internal issues and discovered that it was indeed a physical issue that could be resolved with traction. I had been suffering for over a year with no relief and no answers from medical doctors and had almost given up that I would never know what was wrong. He has also tried to find the best variations of treatments for me that specifically work best to have longer periods without pain. Dunn Clinic has also been very helpful with trying to make treatments as economical as possible for me with my insurance. They are always on the cutting edge of new methods, equipment and treatments that will benefit their clients. Melissa, Tammy & Shelly in the office are all great, and they have had a variety of great masseuses for myofacial massage as well. I can always count on them, and I recommend them to my friends as much as possible. more

Top notch service and very knowledgeable, friendly staff! I'm never a fan of visiting doctors but during my entire experience with Dunn Clinic I felt completely comfortable...like I was among family. They even recommended a great back-friendly chair for me and told me the best source to buy it from rather than trying to sell me one. more

I don't normally post reviews, but I don't normally have the experience I have had with this Clinic. I am extremely happy that I have finally found a chiropractic clinic that caters to my specific needs. Dr. Ray is straightforward and is he is up on the latest techniques and equipment. Everyone is extremely pleasant and professional. His staff is incredible they make you feel so special here and will give you all the time in the world. Tammy, in the billing department, is willing to help you with any insurance questions or concerns that you might have. If you are having back pain/problems go see Dr Dunn and let him help you. Dunn Clinic is the best clinic that I have been to. They are such a wonderful place to visit and to take care of you right away. They are so nice and caring and that is hard to find now days. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. WONDERFUL PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! more

The Dunn Chiropractic Clinic has been a part of my health regiment for the last 7 years. Dr. Ray and his staff always know who I am when I walk in the door. I have received adjustments, massage therapy, training and acupuncture services and have befitted from all of them. Lynne is an amazing massage therapist and seeing her is the highlight of my month. more

I have been experiencing headaches along with lots of other weird symptoms such as neck pain, lightheadness,etc..I have been to 2 neurologists and a prev chiropractor. Dr. Ray is the only one that has taken the time out to help pinpoint the source of my symptoms. He really cares and will go over and beyond to help. i am so appreciative of dunn chiropractic for the way that they have handled me as a patient . I highly recommend this office. I do not have alot of time to waist or money and this Dr has really made my office visits worthwhile. Dr. Ray please dont change:) more

I have been to other Chiropractic clinics before and was not overly impressed. I have suffered with back pain for years. I run my own business & have to be 100 % at all times. Which is hard to do when you are in pain. A few months ago I had a flare up that left me barely able to walk! I was in excruciating pain! I asked a few friends & they all told me to try Dunn Chiropractic Clinic. So I did! They worked me in within hours of my phone call. I could barely sit in the chair & fill out the paperwork, I was in so much pain. Minutes later they were taking Xrays. Joe the xray tech is awesome. I immediately felt comfortable. When I went into the Dr. consultation I was very surprised to meet 3 doctors. Dr. Ray explained that all 3 Doctors wanted to familiarize themselves with my case & happened to all be in the building. I mean WOW! Where else do you get that kind of patient care? Nowhere! From my first visit I have been blown away with the level of care I receive every time I go, and how great I feel after I leave. Last week Dr. Ray told me that they could also help me with the tendinitis in my wrist as well. Just when I thought I couldn't be any happier! I have not had any wrist pain after the treatments Joe preformed! Now thanks to everyone at Dunn Chiropractic Clinic I can do my job again PAIN FREE! I highly recommend them to EVERYONE I know! more

I first met Dr. Sweeney when my body was 80% numb, I I couldnt walk or stand up straight, had 6 bad falls, with 2 down the stairs. I had just had a baby 3 weeks before and my OB wasnt being any help to me finding a neurologist and it seemed like none of the doctors I was trying to get into were taking my symptoms serious enough and I couldnt get in quick enough to anyone for how fast I was going downhill. Thankfully, by way of a path only God can create, I called Dunn Chiropractic Clinic. I spoke with the receptionist Lindsay who had a chiropractor call me back and within 5 minutes there was Dr. Sweeney. He took the time to LISTEN to my symptoms, was very concerned and asked to see me first thing in the morning based on my symptoms. He evaluated me, sensed there were possibly serious neurological and showed concern regarding my spinal cord. He gave me his cell phone number in case my symptoms got worse and referred me right away to see a nuero surgeon first thing Monday morning. The nuero surgeon Dr. Sweeney referred me to ordered MRI's and lesions were found on my brain on my spinal cord that were a diagnose of MS (plus having 10+ of the over 50 possible symptoms). The Nuero said its by Gods grace I'm not paralyzed. We started treatment right away for corticosteriod injections and with the treatment and LOTS of prayer, I am responding well and regaining my strength back. I've started walking again, and the numbness is fading (I was 80% numb, now less 40% and regaining sensation!). The Nuero has now drastically reduced my medication and I've already started management medication and its only been 3 weeks! The Nuero says I am recovering at a rate of 300,000! Obviously no one wants to go see a chiropractor however this office was extremely nice, with trendy, pleasant decor and an awesome office staff. They were very friendly and understanding...and Dr. Saeedpour was a hoot to be around and does great adjustments. I've stopped back in just to say hello. I consider the group of them my friends now and would recommend anyone go see Dr. Ray. They are right off 440 and 21st and have plenty of parking. I was referred to DC by a client. I did some research and visited three chiropractors. Dr. Ray and Dr. Keiser definitely stood out. After a few visits it was determined that my problems were muscular. Dr. K sent me to Trey Brackman. Let me tell ya, he really worked me over. I have tremendous relief after my massages. I had numbness in my hands from my work. Trey told me he could fix it, I thought to myself ""yeah right"". He worked on my wrist and they are like new! I went through two surgeries last fall (non spinal) and suffered from some pain and numbness in my legs. The neurologist I was seeing ordered an MRI and found two herniated disk. Of course he referred me to a surgeon as none of the medication was helping the pain or the feeling come back in my legs. Pros: To many to list Cons: None what so ever!!! more
