Donelson EyeCare

I've gone to Donelson Eye Care for the past few years and absolutely LOVE Dr. Kegarise along with the rest of the staff. I actually look forward to going to my eye appointments! I take the health of my eyes very seriously since my perscription changes rapidly from year to year and I only trust the docs at Donelson. I'm extremely pleased with the service they offer. more

I was very pleased with the cheerful greeting and knowledge of the staff. I have very dry eyes and have been going there for several years. I could not be happier with my results. I have seen 3 different Drs. and they have all been AWESOME!! Clearly they read my chart before I am seen, so they all knew exactly what was going on. Someone there keeps very good notes in the system :) I highly recommend this office! more

In stumbling across a couple of these reviews I was compelled to share my experiences. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Kegarise for several years now. Initially we just picked them out of the covered providers list b/c they are close to our work. I could not be more satisfied with them. Dr. Kegarise is a very positive, pleasant and easy-going person; let alone doctor. They have been very informative and helpful, through several pairs of glasses and with pre/post op care for Lasik. I also think it is your responsibility to know your insurance benefits; within reason. However, they have explained the specific details and percentages of my coverage every time I had a question. All businesses have turnover and I have seen several faces there over the last couple years. You only go once a year anyway...people come and people go. You are there to see the doctor at the end of the day. If you are searching for a good eye doctor, I would recommend Dr. Kegarise. more

Stay away from this place, especially if you have insurance. My husband has insurance. His co-pay was ""suppose"" to be $25. When he got there, they charged him $104. He paid it and contacted the insurance company after his visit, thinking ""maybe I did have to pay that.' His insurance confirmed that he did have a $25 co-pay. he called Donelson Eye Care and tried to talk to the lady that handles the insurance. She said they offer a 20% discount on visits with his insurance. My husband argued that this wasn't true and he only had to pay $25. he got mad and hung up on the woman. Again, stay away. after receiving contacts within a 6 weeks I contacted the clinic and informed them they were BAD CONTACTS. after requesting new contacts they basically wanted to charge me again for both the fitting and for the contacts.... it was a contant turn over of staff, I was seen by a different DR each time. best advice...SEE SOMEONE ELSE. Cons: contant staff turn over replaced with uncaring staff more
