Discount Uniforms

We have all seen and heard the disruption that a customer can cause in a store or public place. This woman was a store owner's worst nightmare. We needed this customer to leave. It reminded me of someone I saw on the Hardcore Pawn TV show. She was offered a repair for her problem, then a full refund on her credit card which she could not provide. I was called by our manager to the front of the store. When I arrived, the woman started yelling obscenities as I walked up. I was told about a problem with a zipper. I offered to replace it immediately with our tailors. She continued to rant and rave. I said refund her in full to get her out of the store, and stop the disruption. She did not have her credit card. She grabbed her clothes; yelling as she left, cursing, obscenities, and using obscene gestures, etc. We have thousands of happy customers each month, and we work extremely hard to satisfy those customers. Sometimes people come in and just act like a fool. There's not much we could have done. There were witnesses. We do video and audio record store activities. ~Owner more

WOW, I have been coming to this place since 1997. Some thing has changed. From being treated as a human to being treat like CRAP. WTF?The counter personal are clueless regarding customer service, as well as the owner. I had a issue with a defective Item. After being insulted, called fat, told that it was probably the way I used the product. The owner comes to the front counter to continue the insults. I would drive to Galveston, Tx instead of going to that place again. How can you treat people that way that are spending their hard earned money with you. NO WAY, I would ever spend money at that place again. So sad that customer service is going out the window now a days..... more

I've been coming here off and on for about 8 years now. When Greg the owner had more control of the place, the service was better. He was rough around the edges, but he treated customers very well. The new manager in charge is a jerk (young guy full of tats). He doesn't treat his customers well, has a nasty personality and doesn't appreciate returning loyal customers, Greg did. However, this place can be cheapper than all other places around town for police supplies (and I have been to all). more

I have been doing business with Discount Uniform for over 6 years. They sell quality merchandise and do their best to get you what you want. The staff is small, but the stock is huge thus keeping the price for quality merchandise low to the consumer. I have never had a bad experience and neither has anyone I have sent their way. Keep up the great work! Pros: They do everything on site Cons: Sometimes they get busy and there is a long wait. more
