Cowbobas

This is one of my favs for steak. It`s a no nonsense steak joint. Steak, tater, salad. The End. Food is outstanding for the price. Building is a little plain, but lets face it. You come to look at the walls or eat steak? And it is prepared just as you ordered it. Oh did I mention that they deliver steak to your door? It's wonderful to eat a Porterhouse under $20 that really melts in your mouth. Now wipe that drool off your face and go get one of their steaks.... more

I took some people from out of the country there to see ""everyday americans"". It was great! I got the name from a recommendation on Craigslist . When we went on a Saturday afternoon, evening the place had Us, (three Japanese nationals and An American farm boy), two tables of Mexican americans, a table of African americans and the owners who appear to be Chinese. I thought it was a perferct blend of everyday americans. And the food was exceptional. where else can you get a 22 oz tbone for around 20 bucks. We were very happy with the service, how clean the whole restaurant was and the great quality of the food. Cheap, tasty, tender, well-seasoned steaks done properly to order plus iceberg salad, potato, and Texas toast. There are a few menu items for non-steak eaters, but steak is the definite draw. Crab cheese wontons are an outstanding appetizer done excellently here.\r \r Sadly, the boba drinks are from mix powder and are not outstanding, just tolerable. Kids might like them. There are better places for boba.\r \r Service is quick, friendly, and cheerful. Plain decor, a couple of tvs (ask them to change the channel or turn the volume down if the show doesn't suit you). This is another place where you go to enjoy the food rather than bask in the atmosphere. But the food, ah, the food....
