I purchased a gift card for my mom after being referred to cosmo by a friend. I went with her a couple weeks ago on a weekday and we both had the girls day out package. I didnt know if it would be that spectacular being that it was only 130 and included a massage and facial. Cheap right? But the service was phenomenal. We each had a facial from bettie and a massage from sara. My skin looked refreshed and the massage was out of this world. I know usually with a deal that cheap you cant really expect much, but this definitely exceeded my expectations. I recommend Cosmo to anyone looking for quality and not just some fancy decor. The staff was incredibly personable and attentive to top it off. We will be coming back for christmas for sure. Pros: null Cons: null more

A friend of mine was getting married and we went here the day before to have a swedish massage and european facial and could not have been more pleased! We wanted to have the treatments together, but they didn't have couples accomodations but they arranged to have extra people there so we could have everything done at the same time. more

DISSATISFIED! I visited this spa for eyebrow services and was absolutely dissatisfied with the results. I was pleased with my brow shape and size prior to Cosmo Day Spa, and made sure to ask for minimal hair removal and a simple “clean up”. Instead, the aesthetician, created 2 completely different shapes on each brow (i.e. completely ASYMMETRIC). There was also too much hair removed from ALL sides of both eyebrows leaving them PENCIL THIN AND SHORTENED. More (i.e. approx 1 cm) was removed from the inside of my left eyebrow which makes the brow look very unnatural. That eyebrow essentially starts at my pupil! To top it off, the next morning I found multiple linear scratches along the inside of each eyebrow where she used the tweezers too aggressively.\r \r Needles to say, I will not be returning. more

I recently enjoyed a Hydradermie facial at Cosmo. I mean it when I say ENJOYED! This was the most fabulous facial that I have ever experienced and I have received many at various spas over the past 15 years. The treatment rooms were spotless and so very relaxing. Previously, I had recieved a European Deep Cleansing facial there that was absolutely awesome. That was the day that I met my favorite Aesthetician; Shammi. I have referred her specifically and the Hydradermie facial to many friends who since have become faithful clients as well. I try to go at least once a month. The Guinot products used at this spa are unbelievable. I own most of the line of the products 4 months after trying them. They are plant based and very natural. My days of attempting to find products that really make a difference in my skin are over! Shammi has a healing touch while conducting the facial. She explains each procedure and product but does so in such a way that I maintained my deep relaxation. She discussed my areas of concern with me and was most helpful. I have received several compliments about my skin since beginning my routine with Shammi. Even my husband thinks my skin glows! I am so happy that I found this spa and Shammi! My dermatologist also noticed that my skin was clearer and much more firm. I plan on giving facial gift certificates to my friends on special occasions because it is the best gift that I can give them. I recently purchased a gift certificate for my sister. It was actually a last minute gift, but it was a good save. She absolutely loved her gift. The gift certificate was for massage and facial. She was very appreciative that I bought her this gift certificate, especially since she?s always busy and rarely has time to pamper herself. She loved the facial because it cleared up the blackheads on her face. And the massage was just very relaxing; it was just what she needed to get her recharged. After her services where done, she came out looking fresher, younger, and completely relaxed. more

I go to many spas and I have been to many massage therapists. Rarely do I ever come across a therapist as talented as Sara at Cosmo Day Spa. She knew exactly what areas to go to and at just the right pressure. The spa itself is kinda small, but very cozy and pretty with cool jewelry for sale. In a smaller spa like this, the therapists can usually give you more of the attention you deserve and don't mind going a few minutes over without an extra charge. I left feeling like a million bucks and knot-free!! You can believe I?m a regular now! Pros: Massages Cons: None more

I got my mother a package at this old crapy looking place because of friend referral. At arrival of spa or cheap jewelry store i ran into the owner yelling in some language. The other lady at the front desk was nice but the owner look at me like a less of person or the fool that was buying the new prada bt mother felt the ladies did a great job for the spa/ jewelry store but i wont spend my money there again for a gift more

My son celebrated mother's day with me 2 Sundays ago because he was relocating out of the country for a new job and wouldn't be here for mother's day. He gave me a day of pampering gift certificate. It was amazing!! And I was treated like a queen. The massage was amazing and the facial made my skin glow (my skin still feels like a million bucks!). Loved the service and the knowledgeable staff. I just had a facial and it was exhilarating. The aesthetician (Wilma) had the lightest touch and very relaxing. The whole feel and look of the spa is original and appealing to the senses. The customer service was fantastic.......from the moment I walked through the door I was taken care of. This Spa experience is worth every penny. I had a facial with Wilma and it was pure heaven. It was so relaxing that I had to fight to stay awake. I didn't want to doze off because it was so enjoyable. Also, the facial was not painful, like some I've had in the past at other salons. She waxed my brows perfectly and it was the least painful waxing experience ever. She shared her expertise with me but didn't pressure me to buy products. I have already recommended this spa to family members. Pros: Facials, products, staff, and cleanliness Cons: None more

I used to go to Cosmo, when Mahnaz was working there, it is a great place!! The only thing is that she spread bad rumors about this place, even though she worked there for 10 years. Overall I stopped coming here because she left, and because all the negative things I heard. About a two years ago I started coming back, because this is the only place that does the best facials. I have been to other spa?s, but they charge so much more, and do no extractions. At other spas the main thing you pay for is the beauty of the spa itself. At Cosmo you pay for the quality and service of the work they employees do, and I get 10% off for working in the mall. Pros: Great Service, Facials, Late Hours Cons: Guinot products go fast at this spa. more

Great Hours of Operation!! 2/4/2009

With the hours that I work it is hard to find a salon that is open late and has appointments available that correspond with my schedule. I discovered this spa last night as I was walking out of Macy's and was able to get my legs, bikini, and upper lip waxed at 7:30pm!! Since they are located in the Galleria, they have the same hours as the mall so that means they are open on Sundays too! I'm hooked. If I'm paying for the service, I think the I should go when it's convenient for MY schedule. Pros: Hours are the same as the Galleria so they are open til 9pm every day and open Sundays too more

My husband and I recently moved to Houston and I've been desperately looking for a new facialist.....well I've found her, Wilma. I am an aesthetician and owned my own salon in Austin......trust me......Wilma is fabulous! Plus, this spa is one of the only places in Houston that you can purchase Rene Guinot and Murad products (THE best for your skin). Pros: Great facials.....you get a full hour instead of 50 minutes more

I have visited this spa a couple of times about 3 years ago, so I was (pleasantly) surprised when my fiance' gave me a "Day of Pampering" gift certificate at Christmas for this spa. I can't say that I remember exactly what the spa looked like before, but upon walking in, I immediately noticed that the entry felt more spacious and relaxed and I was enthusiastically greeted by the staff. Although it had been a while since my last visit, they still had a file on me and my massage therapist remembered I had some knee problems. That kind of customer service speaks volumes to me.
