Ive had my boat services at CBMS since late 2009. My first experience was with my port outdrive needing repairs due to a manufacturer defect after the warranty; this required a new u-joint, bearing, and a bellow. Due to the defect, they recommended replacing the bellow annually to active a 1-yr warranty. Thankfully I followed their recommendation, as every year the Port needed the same repair due to water intrusion. Yes, the manufacturer took care of most the bill! However, after 2 yrs of repeated water damage and proof there was a flaw, I asked CBMS to support my push back on the manufacturer, which allowed me to work out a plan to replace the old drives for new versions. CBMS did a great job working with me and the manufacturer to make the impossible happen! As of Oct. '12, the port engine hydro-locked in my slip on a Sun. evening. I called CBMS Monday morning and they were working on my boat by noon, pulling the plugs and oiling all cylinders to save the engine from the saltwater damage. They pulled he risers and manifolds, where he found they had outlived their life. Parts on order that day and work was finished upon the parts arrival...all at my slip!If you have taken the time to read my short story, then I highly recommend CBMS to service your boat regardless if it's small or large!Vonnie is a high-caliber cust. svc rep and a good friend through my boating endeavors.Jeff has a keen ability to figure out and correct my boats mechanical issues. Jeff has become a trusted friend and the only mechanic allowed to work on my engine and drives! The rest of the CBMS team has always been friendly and supportive, always willing to reach out with a helping hand!
