Cinerama Theatre

Now you won't find the type of movie I normally prefer to watch here. No amusing or insigtful independent film. You'll never see anything like Sideways of Napolean Dynamite here. But when your in the mood to see the loud, mindless action blockbuster you need to see it here. The screen is huge, the sound is huge, the popcorn tub is huge. Even the seats are relative comfortable. Go here to see Star Wars, elsewhere for when you want to see something that makes you pay attention. more

I've been to the Cinerama 2 times. Funny though, I can't remember which movies I've watched. I know one of them was the last LOTR. It's an awesome there. The screen is huge and the sound system is amazing. I don't know what it was like before it was renovated, but I don't care. I would difinately recommend buying your tickets online because the ticket can get long if it's a must see movie. more

Visit this theater before it goes out of business , I've heard rumors it might be.. It has a decked out sound system that paul allen paid to revamp, all the chairs are extra cushy, and rock back and fort and almost lean back, you almost feel like they are going to break, but they keep my backside from getting to sore! every seat is a few inches below the seat behind it, so you never have a head in front of you! there is a large speaker above almost every 2 or 3 isles, which equals out to a lot of speakers! and its (i think) the only theater that has a Digital projector! I got to see Star wars 2 Attack of the clones in digital! its an awesome theater and is only a buck more than most theaters if even that! the only downside is that during popular movies you may have to wait in line for a while.. (i.e. star wars). more

The restored Cinerama is an amazing restored theater in Seattle. The curved, huge screen provides a great view from wherever you sit. Popcorn is always fresh and delicious (and really, that's a major reason for me to go to any theater). The staff are also friendly. I prefer to see all the adventure/sci-fi films here, because the sound and the screen is just that good. Support this restored treasure! more
