Cinebarre Thornton Town Center

I am a fan of the Cinnabar and this is why. I hate having to go to an AMC theater because they are the only other theaters available in that area. I have felt more ripped off paying over $10 per ticket for a regular (non-3D, or Imax) movie ticket at a big theater than paying 5-8 dollars at the Cinnabar. When I was there last, they still honored the old fashioned student discount (even on weekends). True, the food is ?okay? but where else could you go that would have beer or a personal pot of coffee brought out to you? My 10 year old loves this place too and if you?re weary about the food I recommend splitting a pizza or two with your party. They?re better than the personal pan pizzas at the big theaters (BARF!!) and the over-all cost would be less. Visually, place is a vast improvement from the dumpy theater that was there before and I LOVE the classic movie posters in the decor. more

We drove over 30 minutes to go to this theatre with FREE tickets. These tickets did not have any exceptions (except for no new movies within first 2 weeks of release). No expiration. Upon arrival to movie theatre, they simply said they don't honor them (even though they were perfectly legitimate). Management simply decided to quit honoring them! This, my friends, is legally FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I would NEVER give them business and will tell EVERYONE I KNOW they are out to rip you off!!!!! Pros: Are there any, REALLY????? I only see movies here now, and am so glad this place opened. i moved from austin, tx and frequented the Alamo Drafthouse Theaters there. You guys should take a cue from them and make your programing more interesting, and the food could use a little work too. Otherwise, the best place to see a flick in denver! I think it is a great place to relax, eat REAL food and enjoy a movie. I'm tired of only having the choice to eat popcorn or pretzels from last week. It's nice to have the room to stretch your legs out and get comfortable while someone serves you food. I have already told my friends about it and I am thinking about going back again this week already! Every theater should should follow their example, I believe more people would be willing to go. I would not recommend this theater, espically if you are taking children. The people who work there are very unprofessional, plus they give you the feeling that they are doing you a favor by just being there. Gosh I thought they were suppose to be thankful for a job and their job is to make the customer feel appreciated for being there. Not so at this theater!! My granddaughter who is 7 years old was afraid to go in the theater after she saw the looks of the people who worked there. I have nothing against piercings and tatoos, but there is a place for that and not for someone who is working at a theater that encounters small children. this is a great place to go for a couple of cocktails, some appetizers and a cool movie. The design has a distinctive urban feel that gives it great atmosphere for a date. The food is absolutely better than most movie/food joints and I strongly reccomend the wings and fried pickles. The movies are first run, the production/sound quality is better than average and the overall feel of the theatre puts you in a good mood. I would reccomend coming about 30 - 45 minutes early. 15 - 20 minutes at the bar for a cocktail and 15 - 20 minutes in the theatre to pre-order your food. Overall Cinebarre has filled a niche where the 2nd run movies in dirty old theatres falls short. more

I would say it was a very neutral to negative experience, movie prices inline with most major movie theaters@$10 per person, not 7 like it says on here. Interesting concept to eat while you watch a movie but service was not very good at all, and food was marginal at best "" basically bar food"" for 2 people it was $35 for just sandwich, fries and soda each plus the cost of the movie that was $20 for both of us. So for $55 night, overall, I didn't feel it was a very good value. One thing to be aware of... if you order a refill, they will charge the full $4 for the second drink, I thought that was very out of line for food service, but then again it is a theater. I wrote an e-mail to them as well, haven't heard back yet though. As for the service our waiter was very inattentive, and didn't seem like he wanted to be there and after serving the food we only saw him once until the end of the movie, and it took my friend over 35 minutes to get a refill. Hopefully they will shape their act up as I think this could be a really good place with the proper service and people there, and a bit better food.
