Are you kidding me? On the top ten of Houston? C'mon guys you can do better than CiCis. I find it hard to believe that ANYTHING would come in after this cardboard-selling chain restaurant. It has a decent value for all that one can eat. If you're going to eat a lot and you don't really care about how good it tastes, then I highly recommend it. Otherwise, if you're really not going to each that much, just order out to some place more fancy... like Dominos (sarcasm). Pros: Value Cons: Everything else more

How can CiCi's be on the list of best pizza in Houston? It is NOT good pizza! A good place to bring the kids for cheap? Sure, but to rate this pizza as good is wrong! the pizza isn't that great, but at the price, and with wide variety at its buffet, it is definitely a bargain in Houston, even the carryouts. Their cinnamon rolls are good, I like them very much. They're second to Cinnabon's cinnamon rolls (but I haven't had many cinnamon rolls to be honest -- not a big eater of those). Also, if you want a good pizza at Cici's, have them make it for you (they won't charge u if u pay for the buffet and ask for a specific kind of pizza). I've done this a couple of times and the pizza tends to be better tasting than those at the buffet. I wonder how they make a profit... maybe it's by the drinks? Hm. I ask for water anyways. LOL. While certianly not the best tasting pizza, CiCi's is an amazing value. The pizza is good, the salad bar is good, and the desserts are great. All this is all you can eat for around 5 bucks. Not bad at all when you're a college student! Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly, Buffet Cons: Loud, Kids more

New and improved 1/28/2003

CiCi's seems to be trying to upgrade their quality and service while maintaining low prices. I recently ate at one of the new stores and it showed vast improvement over the old ones. Pizza actually tasted like pizza, nice salad bar, friendly management who were eager to please and check for three under $15.00. We can do this when the need calls for it. Cici's is really underrated. The buffet includes all you can eat pizza, salad bar, and extras like dessert pizza, pasta, etc., at a price that is amazing! The clincher for me is that you can order on the buffet pizza just like you like - anchovy's, jalapenos, green olives - no problem. I can't believe that this place could even show up on a top 100. Whoever may have contributed to Cici's showing up on a ""Best Pizza"" list needs to have counseling! Actually, just take a trip to Chicago or New York, how about anywhere north of the dixie line. This is not pizza, it is commercially ""dressed and distributed"" cardboard! I know the editors had to come up with ten names. Next time stop at nine and say that Houston owes us one more...... more

I'm sorry, but Cici's Pizza has the worst pizza I have ever eaten. True, it is cheap, but please, that pizza tastes like cardboard. I cannot even believe Cici's made it onto the top pizza in Houston list at all...terrible, just terrible! Shouldn't the best pizza place have good pizza too??? Their pizza is not that great, but in my opinion, the Chocolate Dessert Pizza is tasty. Like others believe, I only recommend going here if you are REALLY hungry and don't have any other place to go. It's great for the kids because practically almost every American kid's favorite food is pizza. It's also good for people who just love food, and don't have a specific preference to what kind. However, the best thing about CiCi's is their cheap price. more

Bulk eating, Kid friendly 12/5/2002

Okay, so it's NOT the brick oven pizza that will send your heart singing Italian opera, but if you have a car load (or SUV load) of hungry kids or young athletes--by gum, this is the place. Consistently middle of the road, Cici's cannot be beat for price or convenience. The product is decent, and the restaurants (chain) are generally well kept and appealing. I say: when you have a hungry team of young soccer players--who needs a white tablecloth and fresh basil. Bring on the chocolate dessert pizza and keep the troops happy! more

Cici's is not deserving of being in the top 10... not even top 20. it's cheap and that's all that it has going for it. obviously a lot of guys voted in this poll cause Cici's is only enjoyed by guys becuase of it's disgusting all you can eat buffet. The guy did sing Ricky Martin to me though. more

If you think that cici's is high quality pizza than surely you havent been around very much, the all you can eat price is a fairly good deal, but quality? not very good at all... pizza is usually cold, only kept ""heated"" by those handy 'heat-lamps', which dont do much of anything in the first place.
