Choeng Wun Restaurant

My co-worker and I along with a friend went here for lunch. As I write this, I'm still in the food coma I put myself in from grubbing at this little establishment tucked into a corner in an unassuming mini-mall. The great advantage of this place is the fact that unlike most Korean BBQ places, where the meat to be grilled is brought to you pre-portioned, Choeng Wun has a cold bar with various raw meat cuts, some already marinated. We got the Korean cut beef ribs, the bulgogi, brisket tips, spicy BBQ pork and the incredibly delicious pork belly. One hour later, we were slumped back in our booth, feeling fully, sleepy and satisfied. I am definitely coming back here. One note: be aware that many of the parking spaces in the lot are 10 min only spaces, so be prepared to find street parking when the place gets busy. Pros: Ability to get your own meat more

This is your standard Korean ""cook the meat yourself"" type restaurants. You pay about $22 bucks for dinner and then you head over to the raw meat buffet to load up on your evening's pre-cooked fare. Pros: It's all you can eat Cons: You smell like the food when you're done cause you cook it. more
