Chico's

This was a horrible experience and waste of money. The clothes look great in the store, but don't go by the cleaning instructions on the tags. If you don't want to have all of it dry cleaned, don't buy it! Colors faded; pants shrank....and instructions were followed to the letter and then some. The store clerks are sticky sweet when you're there to shop and spend, but try returning something and they become ice queens. Even the store manager doesn't know her own return policy and was so rude it was unbelievable. I'll never step foot in a Chico's store again or even buy the brand at a discount store. I got my full refund, but only after contacting the corporate office and filing a complaint. No apology was received. I wish now that I had returned the entire purchase. Chico's gives age 40+ women the opportunity to wear stylish clothes that fit. After all, we're not all able to wear our teenagers skin tight shirts and jeans anymore. The value and quality are good. I've found each store has a slightly different inventory, so don't be afraid to have the sales person check to see if you size is at another store. The ""passport"" savings are great. I've been a Chico's customer for years and have always received excellent customer service. The sales associate who answered the phone at the Chico's store on 1960 (Champions), however, was extremely rude when I called to find out if they had a certain sweater in my size. When I called, the sales associate told me she didn't have time to look for the sweater and I should just call another store - maybe a better option would have been to take my name/number and call me back? She didn't even offer me another option! I couldn't believe it! For the prices Chico's charges for their clothing, I would expect MUCH better service! I now shop at the store on Voss/Woodway, where the sales associates are so much more professional and helpful. more
