Champion Cellars was the first privately owned wine store in the state of Washington. They're still in business with the original owners. Emile and Stephanie know wine and how to pair it with food. They are the most knowledgeable wine shop owners in the state and are always warm and welcoming. This place is a true Seattle Treasure. more

It's small, a little dusty, and got more character than Walt Kelly's "Pogo". This tucked-away shop (squeezed between Champion Party Supplies and Tini Biggs) has a great selection, fair prices, and knowledgable staff. Need a dry Tokaj? No prob. Small production WA merlot? Got that too. A choice '97 Cab? Sure, been keeping that hidden for a while. The only thing you won't find is product in bulk -- don't be surprised if all they have left is 1-3 of the exact bottle you seek ... more
