Not so fast - doctors like to cut! 2/4/2009

My daughter's dancing career was ruined after we were promised that she'd be good to go just weeks after foot surgery. It never happened. Lo and behold, 10 years after the surgery (last week), we get a call from this office saying our daughter (now 21) should come in for a "followup" and our insurance would pay for it. There's a lot of that going around these days. So much for ethics. I reported them to my insurance company who said they can't control what doctors advise. No wonder insurance costs are so high! Never again. more

Get's things taken care of 7/25/2005

My 6 year old daughter has seen dr. Mubarak for an ongoing problem since she was about 3 or so. His office staff is caring, and dr. Mubarak is good with kids. He seems knowledgable about my daughter's problem, but when he had questions about it, he admitted not knowing all the answers. The next time we visited, he had more new information, and had taken the time to do some research. more
