In today's twisted economy, diners are becoming more discerning about how often they dine out and when they choose a place, they want that experience to be worthwhile. Why is it that some restaurants, like CPK, don't recoginize the importance of dependable and quick service? My family and I ate lunch at the Post Oak location today and while the food was wonderful, the service was super retarded. Two members of my family approached a different staff member, one who was a manager, to ask if someone was planning to wait on us. We sat for more than 15 minutes without drinks before someone cruised by to take our orders. And then we waited another 10 minutes before the tardy drinks arrived. No diner should ever have to wait 25 minutes for a glass of water, okay. One of my family members wanted a side of diced avocado with her soup, and once again, a longer than necessary wait. About that time, I had to ask for a refill of my water glass. Why should a diner have to ask for a refill? CPK needs to get their service wired tight because plenty of other establishments in this city serve top notch pizza and salads.
