Hillcroift Medical Clinic 9/14/2011

Dr. Lang is a good doctor - however the billing system at his practice is totally flawed. One has to pay upfront before for the doctor visit and supposedly internal lab charges before the doctor has the opportunity to make a diagonsis or prescribe any tests.\r \r The upfront charges are determined by non-medical personnel (tyically the receptionist) and are added to the office visit copay. The charges are not subject to any explanation or discussion. The lab tests charged, are reportedly internal lab tests that are never performed during the office visit. It is impossible to understand how the receptionist knows what lab tests are going to be pperformed in advance, since she insists on payment upfront. To cap that, you have to pay the outside lab separately for the tests actually perforned. The doctor's statements show a slew of internal lab tests never performed in the doctor's office. When you call to get credit for the overpayments they insist that the tests wereactually performed in their office but cannot tell what specific tests were performed. The billing office has no records of the overpayments. The patient has to provide documentation for the overpayment! The whole system needs to be overhauled. I do not know if the doctor knows what exactly is going on at his facility. I will certainly dicuss the billing procedures at his practice.\r \r \r more

Dr Lincoln 8/27/2008

I have been a patient of Dr Lincoln since moving to Houston for 5 years. I recently had a back problem which did not require a visit to her office. I only requested her to call into my pharmacy a script for some mild pain killer and/or a mild muscel relaxer. She refused to do it without me going in to the office. I mention again that I have been a patient of her for over 5 years so me calling in and asking for this was not as a new unknown patient. Hilcroft and Dr Lincoln is not concerned about a loyal patients well being but concerned about how much money they can book to the insurance company. I highly recomentd tha if you are searching for a Dr that is going to provide you heartfelt and personal care do not look to the Hilcroft medical group. They are nothing more than a group looking for money and not in practice for the right reasons. Cons: poor service more

Hillcroft Medical Clinic - Dr O Bannan, new location in Sugar Land 6/21/2008

Dr Bannan has been our family doctor for many years. The facility in Stafford wasn't wonderful, but I wasn't going for the decor or to read the newest magazines. We always give her name when people ask for a good doctor. She has everything we want; knowledge, compassion, and she listens, with an interest in more than just the reason for the visit. We have always found she is willing to refer to a specialist as needed, doesn't think a pill is the cure-all for everything, and gives an opinion that is thoughtful, understandable, and ""user friendly."" Everyone we have sent to her responded with thanks for the referral. She has moved to a new location in Sugar Land so people whose first impression starts with the facility instead of the physician can go now, too. Pros: Dr O Bannan, excellent care, friendly and personable, easy access - thank goodness she's not in the medical center! more

Hillcroft clinic on Main in Stafford - Not Very Nice Physical Facilities 10/14/2007

The physical facilities are not very nice. Makes me suspect the better doctors do not practice there. Have met one doctor who was very nice but soon discovered another one practices or did in that group and I know he has a very bad reputation - I've been in med circles too long. \r \r The parking lot is rough, the patients are stacked in chairs lining the hallways which makes for a very crowded situation and not at all comfortable. The chairs are not comfy - especially for people in pain. There are not enough restrooms. It's not very clean. Some pieces of the tile in the ceiling are falling out and the tiles in the ceiling in the raddiology room are falling out. In fact, I saw signs of leaks in the ceiling all over the place. The changing rooms for the radiology are just closets with a curtain in the hallway. Patients are sitting in examining gowns in the hallway - men and women together. They have no sense of privacy or sensitivity to patient needs. And I wrote the book on the latter. I sure hope they sharpen up in their new building. I don't like their physical facilities at all. They take bp and temps in the hallway - again, ignoring patient privacy. Mine was very high after a 3 hour wait and frustration and I yelled in pain and complained. The girl taking it was not very good - patients need to be treated with sensitivity. \r \r The first time I went there I waited 2 hours and had to leave for another med appt. They did refund my money politely. Pros: Refunded money when I had to leave w/o complaining Cons: Poor physical facilities more

A wonderful doctor 5/12/2006

See the review for her office on Fannin for more. I could not have had a better time with my Pregnancy thanks to being under her care. She handled my High-Risk pregnancy proactivly, was very compassionate to my situation and helped me with my emotional well being in regards to being a 1st time, single mother. I highly recommend this very compitent, capable doctor. more
