I was stuck on a plane flight from Dallas to Seattle and the gal asked me what she should see on her three day trip to Seattle. ""Ride the Ferry,"" was the first thing out of my mouth. If you have a friend in town and want them to truly experience why Seattle is one of the best and most beautiful places on earth, take them on a ferry ride... it's romantic, it's CHEAP... and you'll get the best views of the city and Puget Sound. Or, for a cheap date, go to dinner and then take a late night boatride on a starlit evening... guaranteed you'll win your date over if they have one ounce of romanticism in them!
