Gheap prices, no comment, but they overcharge...Be careful with the haircuts...really. Short cuts are nice, but the others...hmmmm....

Excellent service for your money 7/17/2007

I go here regularly for facials and spa treatments. I have never once had a bad experience - the students are very attentive and methodical and it's very comforting to have the instructors consult with you and the student before the beginning of any treatment. I booked updo and make-up service for all of my bridesmaids here on my wedding day because the prices were unbelievably affordable and they all looked spectacular. Kudos to the students as many of the 'maids had very long and thick hair to work with! Services can take a little longer here than at a regular spa, but it's never time wasted as you feel relaxed and pampered throughout. more

best cheap blowout 11/15/2006

my favorite salon, taylor reese, charges $40 and up for a blowout. Just come here for a splendidly cheap blowout. it's not like scissors are involved, even though my girlfriends say the cuts here are good. don't waste your money somewhere fancy for a blowout. and for those that think blowouts are already a waste of money, go get one before a big date. you'll have bouncy, voluptous hair and it will stay that way well into breakfast the next afternoon, pending a successful date. Pros: price Cons: aveda-y smell, i'm not a fan more

Amazing hair for half the price 5/3/2006

This was a great deal. I went for the first time. I loved it and will definitely go back. I actually didn't have to wait and the girl who did my hair was very efficient. Not to mention, it was hot. Loved it and it was probably the best dye/cut I have ever got...not to mention the price...$59!!! I couldn't believe it. Amazing and highly recommended especially if you are trying to save a little cash Pros: Great price, great value, great hair! Cons: kind of crazy atmosph more

Love It Here 5/10/2004

I am a loyal Aveda Institute customer. I have had my hair cut and highlighted here many times (like 10+) and only received 1 shotty one which they promptly fixed. Their facials and other spa treatments are great and I love the fact that I can afford to try something new when I go here because its so affordable. Quality product and good service so long as you are patient. They are students after all so it usually takes longer than going to the salon but I find that they are usually much more meticulous than when i have my hair cut by a pro.
