Went last night for dinner after hearing some good reviews. The food was ok, nothing really stood out... average burger, average fish...soggy, greasy chips. The wait staff was horrendous. Our waitress was more intent on telling me what wine she liked, then listening to what I wanted. I big tip to the management would be to educated their staff on what wine notes actually are. Yummy and thick, are not exactly tasting notes for a Merlot. Anyways, we waited twice for her to bring sweetner to the table, and our app. was just thrown on the table without a word. I had to ask for another glass of wine twice, on the second time she told me it was the bar's fault because a group of 20 just sat down. Here is a tip...When I am looking at the door and have watched 8-10 individual tables come in don't lie to me. Also, make sure that I can't see you ring in the second glass, when you forgot. When our dinner did come, I asked for some Malt Vinegar. It was the fastest thing she brought all night, in a dirty, sticky bottle with the label almost torn off. The place was not that busy for 7ish on a Thursday night, so that must have been the reason a waiter decided to talk to his friends at the table next to us for 15 minutes with is butt 6 inches from my dinner plate. Not impressed with the food, service or giving it a second try.
