Apart Pizza Company

I will never order from this place again. I placed a delivery order via Grub Hub listing my correct address. The Grub Hub information told me that the order was supposed to come a little before 8. I got a call just shortly after 8 from the doorman from the building 2 blocks away (same street number, just different street) saying that the delivery guy ended up there. I explained where I live to the doorman and he sent the delivery guy in the right direction. You would think that my order would then come 5 minutes later, 10 minutes top. Wrong. It took the driver another 30 minutes to come to my place and that was only after I called Apart about it,. While I complained about it to Apart, the girl on the phone was unwilling to help me and making the excuse that it was a busy night. And the driver claimed that it did not take him that long to get to my place even though I have the caller id with the time on it showing when the doorman from the 1st place called. I now have my cold food 30 minutes later than expected and I can't even enjoy my food even though I heard it was delicious. Grub Hub on the other hand was very courteous and helpful (I had contacted them to try to at least take off the tip even though I really just wanted to cancel the order). They could not do that but they did offer me a gift certificate for the full amount of my order. So Grub Hub I give 5 stars while Apart gets -5 stars. more

I will keep this short. Amazing toppings. Amazing Crust. Amazing Pizza. And the price in Chicago can NOT be beat. Try it once and you'll be hooked. I was! more

Crispy and hot with sauce, served within 5 minutes. If you haven't tried them yet, I bet you will definitely plan your second visit after your first one. Its really impossible to forget the taste. Just excellent. more

Fantastic brick oven baked thin crust pizza, pies and calzones. Very good taste, affordable price. You only wait about 10 minutes for your order, fresh from the oven. I think that they were recently overwhelmed with to many customers. Still highly recommended more

love that they have 2 different locations so I can go to any one and enjoy there pizza. The staff is so welcoming and friendly and they have GREAT lunch specials. You get a 10" pizza with pop for like $6. At times like we're in now, I appreciate businesses that can adjust and take care of their clientele. Hats off to you Apart Pizza! Pros: Free Delivery! more

Don't care if they are the pizza nazi...don't bother calling them if you leave 2 doors south of addison because they will just hang up on you. Will never spend a dime there. Cons: NO SERVICE more

This is by far the best thin-crust pizza I've had in Chicago! The ingredients were extremely fresh and the crust was just right. Every pizza has an authentic Italian name that recalls old-world Italy. Another bonus: although the pizza looked and tasted gourmet, the prices were not! Very affordable food and FREE delivery. Also, when we ordered the smallest size pizza we got a free two-liter pop- great deal. Delivery was fast and the pizza arrived hot. Zero complaints! Pros: authentic delicious thin-crust, free delivery Cons: none! more

First time customer- After reading the reviews I was hesitant to order delivery so I called in my order and picked it up at the location at Montrose/Lincoln. The phone person was very nice and told me 20 minutes. We walked over there and they were finishing cooking the pizza and an employee offered us a complimentary fountain drink while we waited. It turns out the person that offered us the drink introduced herself as the new owner and explained that as of this week it was under new ownership and management. I told her about the reviews we had read and how everyone seems to have problems with the delivery times and staff and she committed to us that she was aware and that was one of her top priorities. Her sincerity and openess made her believable so I'm definitely going to give that a try soon! Oh yeah...and the pizza was AMAZING- a bit greasy, but that's what you get with thin thin crust and fresh garlic! Who cares...I will definitely order again!    Pros: East coast style thin crust, fresh ingredients, great value Cons: Greasy (but that's not really a con with fresh garlic) more

European style thin crust with a variety of specialty pizzas. It''s dirt cheap and they deliver for free. What else do you want? more
