Made me worse, now can't walk for 3 months 9/10/2012

I saw Dr. Anderson for the first time about 1 month ago. For achilles tendonitis he sent me to physical therapy and told them to stretch me. This not only was the wrong thing to do in this very basic injury but made me so much worse that I couldn't walk and now have the tendonitis in both feet. I visited 2 other doctors and spoke with 2 more, all who agreed that Physical Therapy was not the correct treatment. I'm very angry with Dr. Anderson for making me worse and ruining my not only my vacation plans but my overall health since I ever saw him! Would have been better off seeing ANY othe Dr. in Seattle. more

Dr. Anderson teaches as he heals 8/4/2010

Good: From the genuinely warm greeting at the front desk to the clearest explanation of my symptoms and a referral to one of the best physical therapists I have experienced, I am convinced that Dr. Steven Anderson and his staff are among some of the best!. Bad: No cookies?. Improvements: I can't think of any.. Other: Expect that when you see Dr. Anderson, you will find a physician who listens completely and well, and who can explain clearly to you why you feel the way you do. We need more physicians like Dr. Anderson!. more

Excellent care 10/21/2009

After nearly being dismissed by another orthopedist when it was revealed I wouldn't need surgery, I saw Dr Anderson. He took the time to review my MRI with me, explaining everything and then he set me up with a rehab plan with a PT- he spent nearly an hour with me, just about unheard of these days. more

Are you having some aches and pains 8/14/2004

Dr. Anderson is a solo sports medicine doctor, not an orthopedist, so he is into nonsurgical treatment and rehab. He is conveniently located across from U. Village, has a very nice, personal way about him and knows his stuff. I think he was a doctor for the American olympic diving team a few years ago. more
