they did a good job and very fast but they did not finish it. i called to see if they would and it would up to a week to fill the hole in the my wall. bugs and ants were coming in.

Robert Webb of Alvarez Plumbing Co. is a good friend and a faithful person. He'll call you back and get things lined up right away. He's a good guy. Alvarez Plumbing Co. is honest. We use them for a rental property. They're working on a job right now that's a repeat call, but it should be handled fine. They've replaced a faucet before and mainly handle plug-ups and stuff like that when renters complain. If want a good person to do business with, call Robert Webb. more

Very reliable & professional, excellent work 8/26/2013

Alvarez Plumbing Co. has been around in my town for a long time. I got a quote from them, and they charged me exactly the price that they quoted me for. They installed a new sink and faucets in my home, and they did a fine, excellent job. The people who came to work were very courteous and professional. They offer reliable service, and I am very satisfied. more

Not Recomended 2/16/2011

I used these guys awhile back to repair a leak in one of my rental properties and got great service from the technician they sent out. The guy was very professional and competent. I recently needed service and called and asked for the same guy and was informed that he no longer was with the company. I requested service anyway and this time was not pleased with the service I received. I was overcharged and could not understand the technician. These guys are way over rated. What happen to the black guy???? more

Alvarez Plumbing has given us the BEST SERVICE we have ever received from a service company!! Everyone from the reception desk, to the service workers, to the GM and VP,Marcus Reyes, was professional, curtious, and knowledgable! Their trust and commitment to us has proven that this Family owned and operated Company will always have our business. They serviced our home by designing and installing an outdoor shower at the beach along with installing a new bathroom toilet. The shower design and it's quality turned out great!!! more

The ONLY Plumbers to call 11/22/2010

When was the last time you spoke to a real person on the weekend when you had a home emergency? Alvarez Plumbing is that company. Our pool pump and motor started making a horrible racket on a Saturday and by Sunday it was so loud our neighbors were complaining. We called Alvarez Plumbing on a Sunday and actually spoke with the owner! After determining it wasn't an emergency, he was out Monday morning, took photos and measurements, and called us that afternoon with three suggestions of products and/or repair options with pricing. We chose to go with a whole new system. The system was installed a few days later after Alvarez called to confirm the appointment the day before, and then when they were an hour away. Installation was completed on time, in a professional and courteous manner, and cost was 1/3 less than competitors-yes we called around to check prices. Absolutely top-notch company! more

Skilled craftsmen 11/18/2010

Alvarez was recommended to us by our insurance agent to repipe our home. Within an hour, someone from Alvarez came to look over everything. He was very courteous and professional, gave us a reasonable price and explained everything to us. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. We were told we would have at least one bathroom working before they left the first day and they made it happen. We thought we would have several holes in the walls, but there weren't any. Before leaving on both days, they went through and cleaned where they worked. The crew was very friendly and highly skilled. Highly recommended. more

courteous, Fair & reasonable service from Alvarez Plumbing 11/8/2010

They have done my plumbing work for over 40 years,and I have not had any problems. They are reliable, courteous, prompt; get there when they say they will be there, and do what they say are are going to do! I find their prices fair and reasonable. Perhaps the people who are complaining have other issues. Did they pay their bill, did the expect more than what they got, did they talk to the owner to try to resolve the issue or just right a nasty review? I have found them to be very reasonable and if their are issues resolve them in a courteous business like manner. I would recommend them to anyone! more

BEWARE - This was the worst experience I've been through. They did not finish the job. Would not come back and correct their mistake. Charged me for items that I was not made aware of. They were VERY expensive and I was OVERCHARGED! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! more

Great job! Hot water heater leak. Called around 9:30 am. They were here before promised time of noon. Very efficient service. \r I would definitely call again for service. more

I've been living in Tampa area for over 20 years and have tried numerous plumbing companies. I've never done buisness with a company that is so friendly and personnal. The last time I called I spoke with David Alvarez and told him of the problem I was having with my disposal and he had me try to reset it and then even told me where to look for tool to unjam the blades which worked, saving us plenty. I didn't even know that the panel in front of sink was functional. I've used them for many differnt problems in past and will tell everyone what i think of them. If your looking for someone to trust and will back what they say CALL ALVAREZ more

Don't use them! 7/27/2009

Installed our backflow...our landscaper had to repair it due to large leak...pipes were connected copper to pvc, with no adhesive or tape to seal it. Shabby work...they've gotten too big, too sloppy, and they just don't care. more

Backflow Inspection 1/2/2009

Received flyer in the mail that Alverez would inspect backflow. Just fax inspection paperwork and they would take care of it and bill me $75.00. I immediately faxed over my request. I followed up about a month later and they said they would do it right away. Followed up with Hillsborough County a month later and it still had not been done. Don't promise me to do something and then blow me off! Plus they were going to charge me way too much.. Needless to say, I cancelled with them and was able to get another company. They were out in two days and charged $29.00. more

Service 5/31/2007

I called Alvarez Plumbing and they sent out a plumber the same day. They were courteous, fixed my plumbing problem and their charges were reasonable. I would use again and recommend to others. more

Alvarez Plumbing 11/25/2006

Scheduled a Saturday appointment over the phone 3 days in advance. I was quoted an hourly rate of $85 and informed of the $40 weekend fee. I agreed and set up the appointment. Once they showed up, I was presented paperwork for $117 per hour and informed billing would actually start 45 minutes earlier because they were lost finding my residence. When I questioned the increased hourly rate, the first excuse was they had 2 people on the job. Next I was told from the dispatcher it was the weekend rate. Either way, it was more than I was quoted when setting up the appointment. I asked them to leave. If you can't trust the quote, you can't trust the work. However, they did wear shoe covers on my wood floors. more
