I have been a patron of Jackson?s for over two years and have always had excellent service and food. The staff has always been ready to serve my party with the best and most professional service of anywhere in the Tampa area, the food exceptional and reasonably priced. It has been my experience with any food /beverage establishment that there are times you can?t expect the personal service you would typically get. Do not expect your cocktails to be served in Waterford crystal on New Year?s Eve, Gasparilla, and Redbull Flugtag and do not expect your bartender or server to stand by your table waiting for your party to decide whether or not you should order the bean dip because it might give you gas. These are their busiest nights and any bar serving thousands of drinks in one night will serve in plastic?glass has to be washed and sanitized. Jackson?s is known for its nightclub which is busy with the younger generation on Friday and Saturday nights. If a quiet dinner is your game?I suggest you go earlier in the evening or pick a weekday night. There is also a very important rule when going out anywhere ?Reap What You Sow Wherever You Go. I am a firm believer of treating anyone who waits on me in a restaurant/bar the same way I would treat my banker, doctor, dentist, and broker. Servers/bartenders should be treated with respect. They are not my servants. They are professionals trained to provide a service to me. They work mostly for tips and should be given just compensation for the service they provide me?just as a doctor or dentist. I am never treated as a stranger when I go to Jackson?s. I look forward to my next visit where I can count on dependable service with a spectacular view of the bay?and hoping to get a quick look at a celebrity or two that frequent Jackson?s when they?re in town.
Not to mention some of the best bartenders in town!

I go to Matoi at least once a week for lunch. Friendly, fast service puts this place at the top of my list. Liked it before the fire put them out of commission for awhile, but now that they're back, they are better than ever.
The atmosphere is very clean (new), comfortable, and it's a great place whether you're in the mood for great sushi or Korean comfort foods like Bulgogi or Dolsot Bibimbap. Kimchi is good here too.

Long time resident, first time customer. From front door to dining rooms to rest rooms, PERFECT. Very good service by new wait person named Leo, manager paid a visit to table.
One of the best meals of 'Roast of Lamb with ribs' I ever had. Perfect salad ( made for me, my way ), excellent baked potatoe, and great coffee came with our SUPER deserts.
Will now be a regular, steady customer. Thank you Sam

I recently got a cleaning at this office and it was great. The dentist was extremely nice and worked with very gentle hands. The only downside is the wait for an appointment is over one month. The office itself was very clean and centrally located. The staff very courteous and pleasant.

Been searching South Tampa for a great thin crust pie not smothered in cheese. Friday nite I found it. The pepperoni was thin and delicious as was the crust. Sauce tasted fresh and complimented the pie. Will definitely recommend.
Pros: This was a delivery and came promptly by a friendly gentlemen.

Plus they have a food court in the middle of the flea market. Where you will find soda, pizza, and other delicacies snacks. The flea market sells a variety of things from clothing to pets. So if there is something out of the ordinary you are looking for go to the Big Top Flea Market. Open Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4:30pm.

This bookstore specializes in spiritual and metaphysical items, both books and otherwise. This includes a wide variety of books including massage, Viking history, religions of the world, self help, et cetera. The proprietor was very helpful with finding material of interest to me and was also open to suggestions for books that would fit into his theme. Almost all of the books were publisher price, so it's not the best place to go for a book that is readily available anywhere. However, it is very helpful for more specialized books than the main chains carry.
