If you experience strange responses when handling your car, or if it makes strange noises, you should waste no time in bringing it in to an auto service mechanic for a diagnostic check up. Be prepared for any necessary car repair, hopefully inexpensive and not taking too much of your time. If the mechanic does not find engine trouble or faulty brakes, you might have a problem with your automotive transmission. This can be very expensive anywhere, even here in Tampa. It will surely not cost the same as an auto AC repair, for example. Do not hesitate about having it done, though, and do not attempt to use your car without the necessary repair.

I would like to say that i highly recommend Buzz Off to work on your car. I recently took my 2004 BMW to them for window tint and an alarm. My salesman was very knowledgable and professional. The installation was very clean and well done, and I even got a lifetime warranty on everything. They computer cut the tint so it came out perfect, and my car stays much cooler during the day. My alarm works great too. I will defenitely take my car back to Buzz Off for any work I may need in the future.

They have a good selection of car care products in the lobby and they offer a full service detail selection as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality of work!

You cannot avoid auto repair or truck repair no matter how well you maintain your vehicle. You will still need to bring it to your automotive service center for auto inspection, engine repair or car transmission system repair some time. Perhaps you may need to have some of your car parts replaced with AC Delco car parts, or perhaps you will just need auto oil change. Whatever automotive service you will need, your mechanic will either use hourly billing or flat rate billing. Both are acceptable billing methods in Tampa. But what difference does it make?
Hourly billing is self-explanatory. Your automotive mechanic and automotive service center will bill you for the exact number of hours spent working on your vehicle. Flat rate billing, on the other hand, is based on how much time a flat rate book says a certain type of repair takes when done by the average professional mechanic. The flat rate book is an automotive industry standard that is used everywhere and not just in Tampa.
Flat rate billing becomes a problem when some clients believe that they are being scammed when they are billed for a three-hour repair that the mechanic finishes in just two hours. The clients think they should, therefore, be billed only for those two hours. They should take into consideration, though, that the three hour period specified in the flat rate book is the industry standard in doing such type of repair. This means that the average professional skilled mechanic will take three hours to do the job properly. If the particular mechanic was able to finish it in two hours, and the repair was done well, it just means that this mechanic is exceptionally skilled and perhaps has had long experience in such types of repair. The time and study he has invested in preparing himself professionally up to that point accounts for the speed with which he did the task. It is only fair that he be duly rewarded for it.

My husband takes his car to this shop whenever there is a problem. They have always been very friendly, honest and flexible. The last time my husband was convinced he needed a new starter, but it ended up being a small switch which cost about $300 less than a repair for a starter would have. Matt's was very honest and up front. When I needed new brakes, there turned out to be another part that also needed replacing. When I picked up my car, they showed me the part that came from my car and a properly functioning part to show me how bad the problem had been and why it needed replacement. Very recommended!

They carry dang near any brand you could possibly want and they know their stuff inside and out. I can't believe I haven't been here sooner. I've wasted so much time and money at other places. Now that I've found Alarms, ETC I'm gonna be a customer for life!
