And really. I think that's a good thing. This is not a generic chain. It's a unique, budget hotel. The decor is interesting, but might seem a bit flimsy. I loved this place, it was centrally located (if you have issues with homeless people, you may want to avoid Belltown, where the hotel is located), reasonably priced and they serve continental breakfast until noon! Honestly, we didn't spend that much time hanging out in our hotel room, and it wouldn't have been all that comfortable if we had due to it's small size. It was a very comfortable place to sleep and regroup. We had a deluxe room with our own bathroom, it was austere, but wholly accomadating. I did notice that the shared bathrooms looked perfectly acceptable, and we could have saved even more money if we had stayed in one of those rooms. Parking was something of a pain, there is a pay lot two blocks down the street, you can purchase 24 hour passes for $17. It is a bit inconvenient to have to drag your luggage up First Avenue at 9:00 on a Friday night... The wifi in the rooms was really convenient though...\r
The staff is somewhat hipsterish, but they were very sweet and accomadating to us. The Ace is a great deal, but if you're expecting the Embassy Suites, you might want to stay somewhere else.
Pros: Continental Breakfast til noon, cool decor, low price
Cons: Parking, The Vague Sketchiness of Belltown
