My boyfriend and I went to Seattle in Early August for a two and and a half week trip to the Pacific Northwest and we started at the Ace Hotel. I had researched the hotels in Seattle pretty well and thought this one sounded like the best deal for the money. We were greeted with immense hospitality upon arrival, which included complimentary breakfast in the morning, and tea and coffee all day long (the coffee was great, definately met Seattle's standards). We got the deluxe room, because I wasn't to keen on sharing a shower, but after being there I don't think I would have minded, because you receive complimentary bathrobes and the decor is pristine and modern. All of the staff were so accomodating, they even put some beers in our room as a nice gesture. They made reservations for us for dinner at night, and had quite good recommendations. The neighborhood, in Beltown, was a perfect location for seeing Seattle by foot. We walked to Pike Place, through Beltown, and to where the Space needle and museums were. We felt so relaxed at the Ace that we didn't want to leave so we returned there at the end of our trip to reccoperate and get one more last bit of luxury at the Ace Hotel. Oh one more cool thing is the great art that is different in every room.
