AAA Wicks Furnace and Duct Cleaning

I had aaa wicks out to clean my ducts and you should have seen the stuff they pulled out. They recommened a sanitizer and a dryer cleaning. Dryer running like brand new after they cleaned it.. Air in the house seems much cleaner. I highly recommend this company more

Did sloppy/lazy work on vent cleaning. Owner very confrontational. Tried to upsell $600 in additional work on ducts and A/C. Lived down to the stereotype of duct cleaners. Would never use this company again. more

Good: Receptionist was courteous. Bad: The fear tactics in up selling their products and services while in your home. Beware and do your own research on what the EPA recommends - prior to the technicians visit. http://www.epa.gov/oppad001/hvac.htm After the "sanitizing" our house smelled musty for many days. We now have more dust then before. And I feel like I have been had. I had to call the company several times to share my concern before I reached the owner.. Other: I tried to have an amicable discussion with the owner after the service. I felt like I had been had. I still do. The claims were false - we agreed to services because of fear. Nothing they offer us will fulfill the claims the technician offered. We had a verbal agreement prior to the technicians visit to not up sell. The price would be what the price would be upon agreement on the phone. After talking with the owner -it is clear he is a sales man- nor does he care about the reviews of his costumers.. more

AAA Wicks = Super High Prices, Will charge you more $$$ once they are in your house. Plus they charge you a fuel surcharge,more $$$. They want to reschedule your appointment after you requested the day off work. The owner is very rude. more

What an absolute joke this company is... I was quoted $149.00 and ended up paying close to $500. They started doing extra services without asking. If anyone out there makes the mistake of using this company, I would highly suggest keeping an eye on them. Also, just add an extra 200-300 on to whatever they quote and you should be safe. more

AAA Wicks, showed up on time and even called ahead to verify that I would be home for the appointment. However once inside my home the technician proceeded to move through the house and count the vents, returns, and “mains.” He then provided me with a quote of $324.85. Substantially different then the $89.95 quoted me over the phone. The sad part is that I asked the telephone salesperson how they determined the price and she made no effort to explain the pricing structure. The result... I sent the technician packing. I like to deal with a company that is frank in all parts of the sale. I felt this was a bait and switch. A real waste of my time as I took a day off work to have this work completed. I am guessing that AAA Wicks counts on that little caught ya! more

AAA Wicks is a very dependable service provider. They often run specials on furnace and duct cleaning in local papers and home mailings. Prices are very reasonable and they do a very thorough job. Workers were polite and reliable. They did not make a mess and worked quickly. It was easy to get the day and time I wanted them to come for my convenience. more
