My wife and I recently came to Seattle to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. On the recommendation of our hotel concierge and several friends at home in NYC, we elected to dine at Wild Ginger on our last night in town. Upon our arrival, the charming and gorgeous hostess, Alyssa, graciously offered us an intimate booth. This came as much of a shock, as we had heard it is near impossible to get in without a reservation. Our service was superlative--both Eric, our server, and Chris, the sommelier, were equally charming and knowledgeable. Our food (lamb chops marinated in cognac, seared ahi) was nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I travel and dine out quite frequently, and Wild Ginger is now at the top of our list. We can't wait to come back to the Emerald City again to visit this rare gem.
