Instead of repair they will try to replace! 12/31/2009

Had a furnace that needed repair. They insisted that is needed replaced. The tech diagnosed the furnace with the light from his cell phone! Wanted to sell me a $5000 furnace. I declined and got a second opinion. Furnace repaired for less than $1000 and no cracked heat exchanger like the Whipple tech claims. The new tech actually used a camera to inspect the unit and found nothing! Con artists. Beware! Cons: They will try make you pay. more

I declined and got a second opinion. Furnace repaired for less than $1000 and no cracked heat exchanger like the Whipple tech claims. Expensive Not recommended 9/2/2009

This company is very expensive and they install the cheapest product at a high price. Even though rebates are available from utility companies, their products do not qualify! This really makes them look bad. We have not been satisfied since our heating and ac uniots were installed. They are too small for our house and our cooling bill is out of control. I had to give a rating but even one star is too much! Cons: Very Expensive!!! Slow customer service, non-respomsive more

Terrible service, late, try to upsell 8/28/2009

I've tried to use them for drain cleaning with my rental properties and they are always late. They tell me they'll be there at 9 am. Then they call my tenant to reschedule for the following week!!! Give me a break. The one time they did come on time they tried to upsell us on something 3 times more expensive then the cost of the original call (and it wasn't needed). Pros: none Cons: upsell, late more

Would never recommend them again. Can never get a hold of ahybody. Everytime we call we get the run around and are totally ignored. Rebate information was NEVER passed on to us. Tried to contact salesman and couold not get him to respond either. Found out prices are very inflated. Pros: Very concerned about not destroying property or carpet Cons: Very pricey. get run around every time we call more

Very professional and prompt 6/23/2009

We had two technicians at our home, one plumber and one HVAC tech. Both were very helpful in diagnosing the problem and explaining the issue to me. Also, it was easy to get an appointment the day after I called and they showed up when they said they would. more

Whipple Has the Best Service 6/19/2009

I have never experienced such customer service nor have I been this satisfied with a company like I have been with Whipple Heating and AC. My furnace stopped working last winter and I contacted them to examine it and possibly replace it. I ended up getting a new furnace and AC unit installed by Whipple. They fixed my ducts and installed a few new lines. They were so friendly and performed everything with the utmost promptness and skill. I was quite impressed. My house is more comfortable and my power and gas bill both have gone down. The best part though is the fact that when I had a problem with the thermostat about 2 months later, Whipple came out after a brief phone call....they troubleshot and resolved the problem....No Charge. They were quick to respond and efficient!! They stand behind their product and guarantee... Who can really say that? Who really walks what they talk? I would recommend them to anybody who is having issues with their furnace and/or air conditioner. Pros: Best Service and Product Cons: None more
