The moment i walked in here i felt like i was back in college, beer pong going on, pitchers of beer and frat guys everywhere. The place was packed with cuties and i would say the ...

I wanted to love the place. Oh how I wanted to love it. I tried so hard, giving this place so many second chances, but at the end of the day, it came up short. Really great lay...

Laid back 6/7/2011

Laid back. Great place to get a dirnk, watch a game & play beer pong more

Love this place 6/1/2011

Without a doubt the best sports bar in Los Angeles! Any sporting event you wish to see, more than likely they have it...and NEVER charge a cover. When I came in here the first time I automatically felt like this was my neighborhood bar. The bar staff were more than friendly and made me feel like I'd been going there for years. As I sat and watched the game, I noticed some of the appetizers and entrees coming out and realized...""this doesn't look like bar food."" Because it's not! Their menu is amazing and full of unique items made of fresh and quality ingredients. Let's face the facts, Los Angeles is NOT know for their pizza but OMG this pizza was OUTSTANDING. I got the ""Mangia Mangia Pie"" and it was completely New York style amazing. One thing that sets this bar apart from the others is the drink wheel. If you chat up the bartender he might let you get a spin! Someone gets to spin the wheel and whatever it lands on is the drink special for the next 15 minutes. The specials range from $5 Jameson shots to $2.50 PBR cans. Love this place, check it out! more

I had a blast! 5/27/2011

I had my birthday party here and I had a blast! The servers were very helpful and they even had balloons set up for my party! They have tons of space so our party of 15 could be seated comfortably for dinner. I hadn't eaten here before so I didn't really know what to expect but they have a huge menu with lots of options. It was a Wednesday night so after dinner we got to sing karaoke but it was fun because there was a live band that played with you while you sang! Everyone had a great time, definitely a ""Happy Ending."" more

i work next door 5/25/2011

I work next door and pop over for lunch regularly. The prices are good and the portions more than reasonable. more

The best! 5/24/2011

Best sports bar in Hollywood that turns into a club upstairs after 11ish at night on the weekends. Alot of people still don't know about this place, which makes it great. Idk what it is about the women that go here, but they completely let there gaurds down here. GREAT place to meet women. Beer pong tables, pool, and alcohol spin wheel. Upstairs dance area is kinda ghetto, needs alot of improvements. Outside rail area is for smokers and people trying to mingle. Good spot to start your night... more

Love this place 5/20/2011

Love this place. I just had my birthday party there this weekend. I only wish the bathrooms were working and a little cleaner. Also, I would rename this place ""Regretful Endings,"" since I was given shots all night and woke up with the worst hangover in life. But i'll definitely go back, and probably sooner, rather than later. more

Way too cool! 5/19/2011

This place was way too cool! The beer pong tables are a nice touch AND they had live karaoke! Decided to go randomly on a Wednesday night and was pleasantly surprised by how chill the crowd was. I came alone since I was waiting for some people but since the place was completely unpretentious I was able to make strangers into friends super easily. I was even able to finagle a guy into singing ""Blister in the Sun"" with me, ahh too fun! I'm not sure why everyone is saying the service sucks; that was not my experience at all. All in all a super cool place and I'll be returning @ some point. more

I like it 5/17/2011

This bar is reminiscent of frat parties, and I can honestly say that that is why I like it so much! The drinks are strong and reasonably priced, and its just a great place to have fun. Also, while it is Hollywood, I never had any issues with parking on side the few times that I drove. more

Friendly and helpful 5/16/2011

Had a double birthday party here last night with my friend Sam. I called ahead to make sure they could house about forty people. Their reservation specialist (Lauren) was friendly and helpful. She gave me her cell number and emailed me to answer questions. She even allowed me to bring in outside packaged red velvet cupcakes because they didn't have any. That's super nice of them! Pizza and a Pitcher are only $14.99 on Tuesday night. The bartender Jared was very nice. He even did a birthday shot with me. Their penne ala vodka was mediocre but tasted great after a few drinks. I laughed, cried several times, wandered off, and then laughed again. This place is big and empty on a Tuesday night which made it very enjoyable. Overall, it was a complete birthday in Hollywood without the whole wait-in-line, look-like-a-hoochie, get-drinks-spilled-on-you, typical hollywood scene. more

LOVE this bar! 5/12/2011

LOVE this bar! Its super fun, no joke... I love the little Lobster claw machine game and the SPIN WHEEL!!! $5 Casadores and Patron shots and whatever else is on the wheel. On fri and sat this place gets crazy packed, sometimes A LITTLE TOO crowded...Two stories but I rather be downstairs were they have some kind of windows. They have these ridiculous drinks you order in a small fish bowl lol and PING PONG tables. Tables and waitress if you want to order food if not there's a bar downstairs and upstairs. The crowd is definitely mixed, tourist, locals, everyone... more

My favorite bar in Hollywood 5/11/2011

Ah, Happy Ending, how I love thee. You are, by far, my favorite bar in Hollywood (which isn't saying much because I do not like Hollywood bars), and this is because, first and foremost, you are LA's Ohio State bar. I'll admit, my first two times were exclusively to watch the games, and I didn't venture out of the dining room, but the free shots when OSU won were definitely a plus. The foot is SO GOOD. I'm a huge fan of the filet sliders, and pretty much all of the french fries. The mac & cheese, and chicken on a stick are also pretty killer as well. On my last visit, I found out -gasp- there is an upstairs! Kind of a dancy, club vibe, but it has a bar and whatnots, so it was okay. The downstairs bar area also has a dance floor area (weird the things you find out when it's not football season), and... A beer pong table. Although I had seen it before during game day, I hadn't realized it was an all the time thing, so that's pretty rad, if beer pong is your thing. They have valet, and I don't remember how much it is, but it's pretty much your only option on parking (it's not too bad though). more

Amazing menu 5/5/2011

Do go here if you are looking for an amazing menu. They have everything from pizza/calzones to fish sticks (really!). I tried the filet sliders and they were the most flavorful sliders i've had in a while. That's not to mention the presentation, it did seem like I should have paid $20 bucks or more for these considering the work and love that was put into these. the waitress, Jessica, was courteous, quick, and had good recommendations. more

It doesn't get better than this! 5/4/2011

really can't believe this place only has 3 stars. really can't believe this place only has 3 stars. It doesn't get better than beer pong at Happy Endings on a Thursday night! Great staff too. Gotta love Kat & Jared beer pong at Happy Endings on a Thursday night! Great staff too. Gotta love Kat & Jared more

Cheap drinks! 4/29/2011

the drinks are pretty cheap compared to the regular Hollywood venues more

Happy Ending is a great place to be 4/19/2011

I should caution that I'm reviewing Happy Ending not as a bar, but as a restaurant. I've been here once or twice on a busy Saturday night, and it's not really the scene for me, kinda crowded and just a bit ""fratty."" If that's your thing, then Happy Ending is a great place to be. As a restaurant, however, this place really excels. more

Worse experience at a bar! 4/16/2011

Unbelievably dissatisfied with this bar. First of all, the bouncer did not want ""believe"" that I was over 21 (even though I am a 6'4"" guy and am 24 years old). After showing more proof, they let me in. Then after spending over $150 at the bar, a security guard forced me to leave my drink ($14-full) on a table and escorted me out of the bar. He told me in a very rude tone that I ""talked crap to the bartender"" and that he was kicking me out of the bar. I had ordered drinks for myself and friends once with two different bartenders (one was this bulky guy and the other was this skinnier dude with a beard). ALL I did was pay them with cash and leave them a very generous tip of over $6 each round. Apparently, one of the bartenders mixed me up with another guy, so they kicked me out. I tried reasoning with the bouncers but they did not listen to a word I had to say. That is when I asked for the manager. He was even more rude stating that he believes his bartender's choice and will not let me back in. I responded that I was not intreated in going back into that bar but I wanted to make sure he knew that he had made a mistake and that if he were to respond to such circumstances the same way, he would not only lower the restaurant's standards but deflect new customers form coming in. Unfortunately, my first time at this bar was the worse experience I've ever had at a bar/restaurant. I would not recommend it to anyone! Please don't support such unethical conducts. more

I love this place 4/15/2011

i love this place. haven't experienced any of the negative things others have posted, and hopefully i never do. this place is just so much fun, drinks are great and not expensive. it's more of a laid back college crowd i would say. i always have a great time here more

Come to Happy Ending Bar 4/11/2011

If you dont want to spend any money for cover, want cheap drinks, would like a really good DJ, spacious area, two stories to party on, beer pong, and two huge bars, COME TO HAPPY ENDINGS!!!! Just dont get there late because since this place has a lot of great perks for those who want a casual enviroment, party, dance, and have a great time. If you are going on a Friday or Saturday, I would highly recommend getting there before 11pm. If not, you are most likely screwed! There is also a chance where since there is a super long line outside, there will be a full house inside. But what is great is that if you can just stand around and drink or even just dance on top of the couches, they dont care!! So I highly suggest you at least try this bar once in your in the area. more

All of the Fun, None of the Fuss 4/7/2011

It has two dance floors, one upstairs and one downstairs, although I'm partial to the downstairs one as it's suffocating upstairs. This is a big plus, as I love a bar with a dance floor. All the fun, none of the fuss of a club. It also has a decent mix of top 40 and 80s-90s music. Valet is $4.25 and relatively quick in getting your car. Drinks are only decently priced for hollywood. Although, in the grand tradition of college-y type bars, there is a wheel that is spun every 15 minutes or so for a new drink special, and if you want, you can load up on $5 shots then (mysterious shots such as the ""cabo wabo shot"" that have god knows what in it). more
