Best

I am completely satisfied and had an excellent experience. Everyone at Round Rock Nissan are great people to deal with!

Lied to by the service guy and service manager. Added on junk fees at end of service to entice me into the service with the low up front costs. Will never shop or service my veh...

Deceptive and Incredibly Unprofessional! 5/7/2011

I have bought several cars over the years...new and used. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Never have I experienced such deceptive practices and unprofessional service! My horrifying experience started with a small issue involving a crack in the windshield they ""fixed"" with a resin injection prior to me purchasing the car. I was not made aware of the existence of the crack, as it would have affected my decision to purchase this vehicle. Within two days of purchasing the vehicle the crack reappeared, and I tried to approach them about repairing it. Not only was I refused service of ANY kind, but found out that their ""30 day return policy"" that the salesman AND the finance manager told me about was a lie. When I told them I would not accept this treatment, they threatened to void my warranty that I purchased with the vehicle. They proceeded to taunt me, telling me that there was nobody I could call to resolve this and that I was ""screwed"" (their words). This is the way they treat you less than a week after financing $16,000! I haven't even gotten my plates yet! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! IF YOU DO...DO NOT SIGN A THING WITHOUT A LAWYER PRESENT AND A MECHANIC LOOKING OVER THE VEHICLE FIRST! more

Painless Car Purchase 3/22/2011

I did research on makes and models and decided on a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL. I sent emails to the 3 local dealerships asking for their best price. Jerry Crieder came back with a price well under the other two who then requested a chance to beat Jerry's price. I liked that Jerry came in at a fair price from the get go and didn't play games. So I dealt with Jerry with negotiations and not only was I happy with the deal, he alerted me to an additional $500 rebate that would go into effect in a couple days. I waited and got the extra $500 off. I dealt with Manny who was new in the F&I office. He showed me several optional warranties on a sheet of paper. I declined them and we moved on. There was zero pressure to purchase any gap insurance, extended warranty or insurance that will pay them for the car if I died. I was in and out of his office in 15 minutes. \r \r Overall, I found Jerry honest, he did what he said, and we started negotiating at a reasonable place. I would recommend Round Rock Nissan and Jerry and Manny to my friends. more

Best of the best! 3/14/2011

My husband and I visited several dealerships while looking for a new car. Anthony Gatling at Round Rock Nissan was the best sales person that we dealt with. He was polite, respectful, and very considerate. He took the time to explain the features of the cars and help us find the right car for us. He also helped us negotiate the deal that allowed us to purchase the car that we really wanted. more

Very professional and efficient! 2/28/2011

Neil Hansen was tremendously helpful. He explained the process of purchasing a vehicle in a way we could understand. I especially liked how quickly and smoothly the whole purchasing process went due to the very efficient manner of the sales professionals. We were very pleased with our experience. more

Refreshingly different! 2/22/2011

Of all the cars I have bought, I dreaded buying another new car, like going to the dentist. How refreshing to have the service I received from Jerry Crider, very efficient, no hassle, no headache. I told him what I wanted, he supplied it and it was the fastest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I will definitely refer friends and family. more

Stay Clear 10/16/2010

I bought a used certified Frontier from them. Once it started cooling off outside, the ac was turned off and the windows were rolled down. Unfortunately, the drivers side window would not roll up. it's only been 2 weeks since I bought it so I called the dealer. SORRY, you didn't buy the extended warranty. I searched for the part, and could have bought one on-line for $75, but I would have to wait a few days to be delivered. I went to the dealership for the part. $260.00 plus tax. i told the service guy I would just wait and get the part delivered from NAPA. He said that it is not the same part and modifications would need to be made to be used, so I bought it. When i got done installing, I checked the picture of the part, it was exactly the same. HE was being DISHONEST to make a heavily marked up sale. more

Don't waste your time here. 9/12/2010

Don't waste your time here. Purchased 2 cars here and watched how one of their salespeople lied and cheated to try and get in our the second deal. A general email to the dealership does not make someone my sales rep. The location is terrible. Try going there around rush hour, it is brutal. It is difficult to find parking at the dealership. If you do find a spot then you just may not be able to get out of the spot. Dead ROACHES were all over the floor of the dealership. Really? You can't pick them up before your potential customers arrive? Those poor kids that crawl on the floor there. YIKES! They don't call to tell you that your license plates are in. You have to call them. They want you to come down there to pick them up. We finally got ours and realized they had them for over a month. Try finding a fully loaded car you like on their lot. Odds are that someone at the dealership used it for a ""DEMO."" All that means is that the car has several thousand miles on it and was used by the GM. Lastly - Don't even get me started on their service department. It just plain stinks. PERIOD more

Worst dealer ever 10/15/2009

Buying a car from Round Rock Nissan was the worst customer service experience of my life. While I was putting the top up on my new 350z (with purchased service contract), the power windows quit working. This is because my body control module (BCM) blew. The service department at Round Rock Nissan blew another BCM while troubleshooting the problem. They blamed the problem on the fact that after market stereo equipment had been installed in the car, even though the stereo had been installed weeks before, was working when the problem with the windows happened, and is still working today (unlike my windows.)They also accused me of installing the equipment myself, even though I had paid to have a professional shop do the instal. They were never able to diagnose or fix the problem, but THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE BCM THAT THEIR TECHS DESTROYED WHILE MY CAR WAS IN THEIR SHOP. They wouldn't even take my car in to look at the problem without me signing an estimate for the time and they never contacted me to let me know they would be destroying parts and billing me for them. To fully appreciate the ""customer service"" attitudes of the staff of Round Rock Nissan, I suggest that you read my review at cardealercheck, where you can see the replies from the service adviser that I had been dealing with. www . cardealercheck . com/review/2304.html more

Warning!!! Do not use RR Nissan for any service problems. 9/3/2009

Took my new car to RR Nissan for an oil change. We bought the maint. package when we purchased the car. So I figured - How hard is it to change oil????? I was wrong....I picked up my car and noticed scratches along the drivers side. I informed two different sales managers. The only thing they could suggest was me calling my automobile insurance and filing a claim, when it happened at their facility. I will never use RR Nissan again. I have a co-worker that had the exact same thing happen to her. Cons: Oil change that resulted in more damage to my new car. more

Great salesperson, avoid going anywhere near their finance department 9/30/2008

My salesperson was great. Very helpful and we found the vehicle that I wanted.\r \r Before I went back to the dealership, the deal had already been agreed upon with my salesperson. Still, when I showed up I had to wait in excess of 45 minutes (with my 2 kids) to start the paperwork with the finance department. Now, if you have kids, you will understand that a 7 and 11 year old can only be patient for so long until boredom, hunger, arguing, etc kick in. When I finally did get in to see the finance person, everything started off fine and we started the paperwork. However, we ran into a snag when he started to offer me the extras (GAP insurance, warranties, etc). When I declined the GAP insurance, he continued to press the issue. In fact, he made me feel like an idiot in front of my children for not taking it. This is absolutely unacceptable. When I declined it for the 4th and final time, he made me write on the piece of paper something to the effect of ?I decline the insurance and assume all the risks? or something like that. From that moment on, his whole attitude changed and he was very rude and standoffish. Just because a customer does not want to purchase all the extras does not mean they need to be treated like an idiot. You can get cheaper GAP insurance from places other than dealers. In fact, I would recomment that you never purchase GAP insurance from a dealer as they inflate their prices. I have never heard of having to write this and can only assume that he did this to further belittle me. My neighbor works in the auto re-finance industry here in Austin and he had never heard of anyone having to write a sentence to decline insurance.\r \r What was supposed to be a pleasurable experience turned into a sour one.\r \r My salesperson walked me out to the truck and I told her about my experience. She laughed and suggested that I write to the manager. I failed to see the funny side of it. Now I do. He has never bothered to contact me. Pros: Location is easy to find Cons: The finance department. Terrible. more

Never Again 5/8/2007

I recently began to experience a ""knocking"" sound and hesitation while accelerating in my maxima. I took it to the Maxwell service dept and they were certain the car needed a ""flush"" to clean out excess carbon. After paying them $230 I picked up my car to discover that not only did the same issue still exist, it now did not want to go from 2nd to 3rd gear and often would not respond at all while accelerating. I returned it and they told me that I now needed a new mass air flow sensor which would be an additional $435!!! I immediately asked for my money back which they were unwilling to do until I asked to speak with management. After a spirited conversation they did refund the initial monies.\r \r I took the car to Christian Brothers, which I should have done in the beginning. They too ultimately diagnosed a mass air flow sensor, however their cost on the same repair was $260...an almost $200 difference!!!!\r \r If your car is under warranty (which mine was not)I can understand taking it back to maxwell Nissan. However, if you decide to take an older Nissan in for service at Maxwell, I strongly suggest you double check what they diagnose and the price they quote. In fact, save yourself the trouble and just take it to Christian Brothers.\r more
