Best Massage for my ""Back"" 4/5/2006

The Ashiatsu Massage where they walk on your back is the Bomb.!!Feel great and you cannot tell that they are using there feet. the pressure is perfect if you have a tight lower back. Some thing different and worth the 5.00 extra dollars. I will be backkkkk for more.And they are open on Mondays Pros: nice spa, professional staff more

My First Spa Experience.. PERFECT Pedicures 4/3/2006

Went to Sensia with my best friend who I had not seen in 5 yrs. We had spa pedicures together and thought the service was a wonderful experience. We loved the atmosphere, would consider our pedicures to be the best we have ever experienced. They even serviced us a glass of wine!! Pros: staff professional, not expensive more

The gentleman at the front desk handled all my wedding appointments and made sure we ran on time. And every one loved there hair and make up. I was running late and the Sensia staff put me at ease the minute I walked into the front door. Pros: professional, freindly more

A Great Experience 3/20/2006

WENT TO SENSIA FOR A MASSAGE, FACIAL, AND HAD MY HAIR CUT AND COLORED. NOT ONLY WAS THE SALON BUSY BUT THE STAFF WORKED WELL IN MOVING ME FROM SERVICE TO SERVICE. ALL MY SERVICES WERE WONDERFUL AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SPA TO ANY ONE WANTING A FIRST CLASS OPERATION. Pros: FUN PLACE, GREAT SERVICES, NICE STAFF more

The Worst receptionists 3/15/2006

I called on two occasions...both times the different people answering the phones were rude. I had a gift certificate to use. They made me a 60 min apptmt without asking me whether I wanted a 60 or 90 min. When I told them my GC was for 90 min, she made it seem like my fault b/c ""well, most people only schedule 60 min massages."" Didn't get a refund, she said i needed to use the rest of my GC in the store. She could have offered me the rest of my 30 min massage. Worst service and RUDE manager/receptionist. 1/27/2006

I am a spa junkie and was so excited to try this spa out. Never again. The manager who also mans the front desk was rude and blatently unprofessional. She barely acknowledged my presence and in plain sight and ear shot of customers was talking negatively about other employees. I returned for a second time and it was the same. That is not a relaxing, enjoyable spa experience. Cons: Rude Service, Unprofessional, Not Relaxing more

I found the front desk to be incredably informative about the services and products. When I had a break out happen she took the time to run over the ingrediants on the back and discuss different reactions that can happen. We isolated the silicone problem and now my skin is cleared up and I am more informaed when I buy products anywhere. Their taking the time has cleared up a problem I have had my whole life. on my feet 1/18/2006

I am a nurse and am always on my feet. I did the sole revival foot reflexology and am totally renewed. I think that doctors should be sending all their patients in to have their feet worked on. It makes your whole body feel better. more

Great massage 1/17/2006

I loved my Christmas present and I should have used it earlier. I thought it had expired cause I had not used it but I called anyway to see if they ould still honor an expired certificate. They did and I got my massage from Ernesto. He did the most amazing deep tissue I have ever had. This Christmas I am using the certificate right away and not waiting. It was great. more

Rude receptionist!! 12/18/2005

Read good reviews here and decided to call for an appointment for highlights. The receptionist that answered was rude and had the worst attitute. Can't tell you how the services are because I got so turned off by the rudeness, I decided not to schedule my appointment. more

James: A man with a gift 12/6/2005

I've just had my hair colored with James for the second time. I absolutely love my color. He is the only colorist that has spent the time to listen to what I really want and has given me the color no one else has been able to do. How amazing to have someone actually listen and deliver the desired result!! James is a talented colorist and just about the nicest guy you can imagine. Pros: James! more

Good masseurs 11/30/2005

My husband and I went here for massages together and were very happy with the service we got. The price was competetive and the massage therapists were definitely skilled - not some apathetic trainees or anything. They used hot rocks and it was great. However, we had gone hoping that we could be in the same room together while getting the massage but they did not have facilities for that, so we were in separate rooms. I want to go back for their hair extensions next time. PROS: good massage therapists CONS: no room for couples/friends massage more

A lady from Sensia came to talk to my daughter's class about makeup and she did a great job so we ventured over here for a makeover type deal - we got free makeup and great service, we will definitely come back here again! We love their mascara, it is the best i've ever tried! They did a good eyebrow shaping. We found great parking and it has a great location on post oak! more

Christa has been cutting my hair for two years now and I love her!! I completely trust her to cut and style however she wants. She is very creative. I have red hair and I was scared to put highlights in but Christa did a fabulous job!!! I highly recommend her. Pros: Great location more

I really enjoyed my experience at Sensia today. Christa did my cut and she did an awesome job. I have spent many years trying to find a stylist that I am pleased with and I am very glad that I finally found someone. I would definitely recommend Christa to anyone They have a conditioning treatment that is wonderful! It's a bit pricy ($40), but well worth it. My hair has never felt softer. I haven't recived any of the other services at Sensia, but I am looking forward to going back and getting other treatments. more

FABULOUS!! 11/3/2005

I had my hair and make-up done for my wedding at Sensia Studio. Cynthia did my make-up and Jonathon did my hair. IT LOOKED FABULOUS! I couldn't have been more pleased. Cynthia used a mineral powder and my skin looked flawless. My make up was natural looking, yet special enough for my wedding day. She also taught me the techniques she was using and I can do my own make-up better than before! Jonathon was a hoot, and my hair was stunning. I have a friend who is a hair stylist and she kept commenting during the reception that my hair looked amazing. I felt like a real princess and recommend Sensia Studio to all the brides I meet. more
