I decided to try this salon because of the reputation it has and I am glad I went. Joel is really talented. He is very honest and is on time!!! I wanted to change my color drastically and unlike other hairdressers that would do it. He explained to me that this might not be a good decision because of skin tones. I am so happy that he is level headed and honest. Instead he lighted my natural color and gave me the best haircut that I have ever had. My hair finally matches my skin tone and complements my facial shape. Thank you Joel!! I will recommend you to all of my friends. more

Melina Tsui is truly a magician when it comes to straightening curly or wavy hair. I have now been having the Japenese straightening done for almost four years by Melina. My hair is highlighted and I had been told the process could not be done on chemically treated hair. Wrong, Melina leaves my hair straight, healthy, shiny and workable. Many hours are saved with drying hair straight, hot irons, etc. I can go outside in the heat, humidity and return home with the same straight hair I left the house with. For many more years than I want to admit I have been having my curly hair straightened and this is without a doubt worth every penny of the cost and time. I no longer live in Houston but return for my Japenese straightening with Melina. She is the best, extensively trained, pleasant and a master of the technique. DO NOT GO THERE FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS. the glue gobs were bigger than my eyes. The lashes clumped up and tangled and fell off 4 days after. I returned to get them fixed and they glued some more on and made the glue even worse. Very rude personnel, no one seemed to care that my eyelash looked terrible and that I will spread the word. I visited Sensia in Aug. 2006. The warm stone massage was awesome. Lety was very attentive to helping me release stress. The ambiance is wonderful throughout the salon. I'm certainly going back! And, the prices were way reasonable. more

I was given a gift certificate to the spa to have a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. Everyone I talked to was very nice and made me feel comfortable. The services I recieved were wonderful and very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. more

He worked out all my kinks and gave me great suggestions for home therapy to relax my twisted body. His stretching method was superb. My appointment was on time and was overall a great experience. I love this place! Brides and even Bridzilla's this place know how to take care of us! After being turned away by Bella Rinova for being 20 minutes late for my wedding day portraits (what bride isn't), Sensia graciously took me in. I had already been though hell that day. My dress was messed up by the tailor my hair stylist had to run through my hair do. He worked so quickly that he forgot to pin in my tiara. I ran in half-way crying with a slanted tiara in my hair and they were sweet, kind hearted, and made me feel like everything was going to be okay! The receptinist (Steven, I think) gave me a big hug and assurred me that I was going to look gorgeous after I left there. He then went to talk to a lady who sooned returned to take me to her chair. She was sweet and so reassuring she talked to me about my face and my makeup. Soon i had forgotten about my Belle Rinova issue. She was completely done in less than 30 minutes and when I looked in the mirror I was astonished. It was wonderful. She then gave me a big hug and told me to enjoy the rest of my day. She gave me her business card and told me to call her if i needed anything else. After i got into my car and looked at the card i realized that the owner and world renowed makeup artist Cynthia Christ ""Queen Sensia"" had just done my make up. wow! I purchased a spa package directly as a gift for my wife's birthday. At that time, I gave my credit card number and my cell phone number and told them to call my cell number as it was intended to be a surprise for my wife's birthday. The next day, my wife returned home to a message on our home answering machine confirming her appointment...ruining the surprise! more

Milena has changed my outdoor life! She has been doing a Japanese Straightener on my curly and unmanageable hair for almost 5 years and she is the best there is! She is articulate and precise and my hair is in terrific shape. It has never been damaged, she does not cut corners, and she takes the time she needs to make it perfect every time! I can go to the beach, pool and on vacation and NOT wear a hat if my heair gets wet!!! Not to mention that Houston humidity is no longer a concern. I have gone to Sensia several times for cut and color and was always happy with the results. I recently went for a Scen-Tao Warm Stone Massage, which a friend recommended and I loved it! I have gone to the Houstonian for a warm stone massage and felt that they spent more time with the stones than me so I was skeptical to get another one. I am happy that I gave it another try. You won't be disappointed. more

I travel extensively and was amazed by the Spa at Sensia. It is well appointed and welcoming. I went in with severe tightness, a headache and neck pain. I left with a smile and no trace of pain.
