Called Schmidt Mechanical with a/c problems. Keith came out gave a quote witch was a great price. Put in unit and found duct work that was separated and fixed it for no charge....

Worst

My A/C was not cooling called Schmidt tech, Bryan came out said my compressor had short to ground.. it was dead... quoting ( like a dead baby in a box ) I was shocked..... he...

Excellent 1/31/2015

I wanted a new HVAC system before my 18-year old system broke. I contacted 5 different companies. What impressed me about Schmidt Mechanical Group is that the owner responded quickly to my questions and emails and went over details to be sure I was completely satisfied. Besides giving me an excellent price, I liked the fact that the company is "certified" on the Trane website, is locally owned and operated, and had excellent reviews by those who have used the company before. I encourage you to give them a chance to earn your business if you are in the market for a HVAC system. more

I have been with Schmidt Mechanical Group for over five years and I am very pleased with their annual service they have given me on three of my houses, they gave me a very thorough and honest professional analysis to help me decide whether I wanted to replace the unit or fix it; and for that I am very grateful. They have the best prices with their new units and their maintenance service, and most of all a very friendly customer service. I definitely recommend them! more

My heat went out and I was able to have Schmidt Mechanical Group come out the same day. They worked around my schedule which was a first for me. Clancy was our technician. Not only did he get the heat fixed quickly, he was also patient with my questions and my kid's questions. I would definitely recommend this company to others and will use them in the future. more

Installation of a new 4 ton Trane HVAC unit 1/23/2015

The Schmidt Mechanical crew arrived on time and did an excellant job of installing my new unit. They were very professional, answered all my questions and explained in detail what they had to do to install the new unit. Many thanks to JR, Steve and Albert for doing a great job. There was another person who came later,but I did not get his name. Last but not least a big thank you to Rusty for his recommendation of the HVAC unit and the calibration of the unit to run more efficiently. more

Truly great company to work with! 1/23/2015

We have sub-contracted Schmidt for several of our customers in the Texas region and have always received A+ service. The technician Rusty always has been very thorough with work he has performed on our job sites. For us Rusty and the office staff and been wonderful to work with, we would recommend their service for any of our commercial contracts in the San Antonio areas. We would like to express our gratitude towards the quality of excellent service that Rusty has given us on every service call and repair. The stores employees at each location are always praising his friendliness and promptness when at their store. One manager stated he was the first technician that truly made their day when he got the cooling working quickly that had been off for months. more

Schmidt Mechanical Group does a great job for a reasonable price. They initially came to our home to service an exterior unit condenser. A few weeks later they came back to replace our fifteen year old heating unit. There was a switch that was not working, and they came to fix it free of charge.
