We had a wonderful time! The room was great. It was really easy to book, and everyone was really nice. The bed was ridiculously comfy! Kitchen was easy to access.

I found this by chance and was I lucky! I went for the colon hydrotherapy....I had never been before. I haven't been feeling right and Wendy made a new woman outta me! She made it so comforting, was amusing and yet very professional. I was afraid it would be embarrassing and who knows what, but it was quite the opposite! She did everything discretely and I seriously feel so much better today. Wendy suggested that I see Melanie for a reading...boy, am I glad that I did. She is an amazing person with such a gift. She has put me on a path of mental wellness that I couldn't find otherwise. Run, don't walk is right! I'm running back there this weekend for Meditation!!! more

contemporary chillest spa experience 8/10/2010

I found out about Ruby Room on one of these online discussion boards yesterday, and was blown away! I went in for colon hydrotherapy, but decided to also get a massage. When I walked in I was struck by the beautiful eclectic art, clean facilities, expanse and size of the spa, and friendly intuitive staff. Honestly the most contemporary chillest spa experience I've ever had. I got a massage from Stephanie, and she worked my tense shoulders for the entire hour. Non of that entire body-massage crap that leaves you wanting more in the areas you truly need. Her pressure was PERFECT from the second she began. Then I got colon hydrotherapy from Neysa. She talked me through my first-time, what i would expect and feel. It wasn't bad at all by the way. But having her by my side in the dim-lit room made me feel at ease. I even got an anatomy lesson and hug to boot! Even the receptionist, Victoria (i think was her name) was super sweet and told me about the cool treatments she has had such as: ear-waxing -- which i am going to be going into in the near future. If you don't want to get serviced they have amazing sents, make-ups, jewelry, bags, and art. I highly recommend! more

I'm Returning to the Ruby Room 5/2/2010

Picture, if you will, Spa Week, 2010. I really love getting facials, but feel like I can never afford them, so I made an appointment with the Ruby Room for a Spa Week Facial with Jennifer. it was wonderful! We started off choosing the aromatherapy scent we were going to use to revive my energy. Seemed a little hokey, but when I found out which one I was to use, the coincidence was a little overwhelming. Ihe facial itself was really nice and relaxing and my favorite part: NO extractions! yay!! My skin looked amazing, and Jennifer took the time to discuss an actual skin care regimen, which is something I'd been planning to do for some time. Because my sister's wedding is coming up, we're going to work together over the next several months to ensure my skin looks as nice as it can. So, I scheduled another facial appointment--I deserve it. ;) The Arcona skincare products have been really great as well. It's now 18 days after my facial and my skin looks just as nice as it did when I walked out of the spa. Totally worth checking out Pros: Attentive staff, relaxing environment, great skincare produc Cons: Energy work can be seen as "hokey" more

I spent a Saturday afternoon at Ruby Room thanks to some very generous friends who surprised me with a gift certificate for my birthday...still can't thank you guys enough. I'm not much for pampering myself, but I am so glad that I did. First I got a massage that was both therapeutic and relaxing. The therapist was wonderful (and surprisingly strong). I walked out of the room in a blissful daze completely relieved of my stress and tension. Thankfully, Ruby Room's atmosphere is inviting and relaxing without a touch of intimidation so I really felt comfortable. I followed the massage with an hour long Arcona facial with Jenifer. I kid you not, it may have changed my life. My skin looks fresh for the first time in many, many years. With Jenifer's advice and technique I feel like I'm on my way to have truly good skin.
