Roto-Rooter Excellence 8/4/2010

I had a pipe leaking in my crawl space. I called Roto-Rooter for assistance, and they couldn't have sent a better technician. He said normally they have to send two technicians to service problems in crawl spaces, which would have cost me twice the labor. He called to see if he could do the work himself since my crawl space was at least 3 1/2 feet high, and has plastic covering the rocks. He wasn't able to get approval the same day as it was getting late, so he followed-up the next day. I was elated when he called to tell me he was allowed to perform the service himself at half the price it would have cost me if two technicians did the work. He kept me informed of all the work he was doing and was very professional. He also made other money-saving recommendations for me to consider in the future. I would definitely do business with Roto-Rooter again, as they were customer-focused and not out to rip me off. Great job! more

Roto-Rooter Excellent Service 8/1/2010

I contacted Roto Rooter on a Sunday and to my surprise they called back and said they had an available technician that could come over and address my problem. I was definitely not expecting same day service but they came through for me. When the technician (Josh) came over, he quickly checked out the issue and educated me on what the problem was and how best to fix it. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and very professional. The cost was reasonable and the work was done in a short amount of time without disrupting my house. I was very pleased with Roto Rooter and would use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing and drain service. Pros: Excellent service, quick, friendly, professional Cons: None more

I made my appointment on line and I found their online system was easy to follow. I made the appointment to meet my schedule and received a prompt confirmation. I was notified that the plumber was on his way and he arrived on time. He quickly assessed the problem and went right to work on the repairs. He was friendly and kept me updated on the progress. The installation of a new garbage disposal and pipe repairs took about an hour and I was able to get back to my schedule very quickly. I would not hesitate to use Roto Rooter on any plumbing problems we might encounter and will certainly recommend them to my friends and family. The services provided from the first initial call to the service technician were excellent. The customer service agent was polite and very knowledgeable in helping me determine the type of service I needed. The appointment was set up with in hours of my phone call with a technician waiting at my door when I arrived home from work. We've had to use Roto-Rooter a couple times and their professional service technicians have always been very friendly, knowledgeable and courteuous. Obviously as a homeowner I am not in a good mood when I have to call the plumber, but Roto-Rooters's staff (especially Graig #1969) makes dealing with plumbing headaches much easier. Roto-Rooter Westerville 3/21/2010

Ray provided wonderful service today. I called this morning to schedule a time and they were there when expected. Very attentive to our needs. He spent a few hard hours cleaning tree roots from our main line. The basement was flooded and he worked hard to get the job fixed. He made great suggestions on what I need to do for follow-up and he cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with the service we received today. Thanks Ray and Roto-Rooter!!!! Patty A. more

Exceptional Service 3/19/2010

I called Roto-Rooter Monday(3/15/10) at almost 4:30. I am still shocked that we didn't have to wait for service, Ray was at our house within 30 minutes. He was so very professional, and took his time and did the job right. We have had several issues like this in the past, and have never used the same company. shower on the run! Dec. 26, 2009 12/29/2009

My husband was taking a shower getting ready for church. When he turned off the shower, it kept running! So much for going to evening mass! He tried and tried to get it to stop but to no avail. We had to shut the water off to the whole house. We called Roto-Rooter right away. Our service technician, Dave, was so very kind and very informative. He made sure we were aware of everything he was going to do. Even though he knew I was very upset about having this issue with a house we just moved into, he was very gracious and made me feel better about the situation - it could have been a lot worse. When Dave was done, he made sure we knew everything he did. He was very professional and just a nice guy. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone. Pros: great technician Cons: non more

The service I received from Mike at Roto-Rooter was top notch. Mike had his id displayed where I could see it when I opened the door. He also introduced himself. He checked the drain and gave me an estimate. Once I accepted he was in and out within an hour with the problem fixed. The cost was reasonable and he was professional and polite. He didn't even mind the dog. more

This was my first time using Roto-Rooter. I was very impressed that they work 24/7 and no matter what time you call, the price is the same!! (Since most problems happen at 5 pm or later). I thought for sure we'd have to pay overtime pay to get our main sewer line cabled. They were there in 2 hours from when I called, fixed the problem, cleaned up and was gone 2 hours later. And our plumber, Michael, was always very polite, kind and respectable looking...You don't always see that anymore! Thank You! Pros: Available 24/7, without paying overtime fees!! Cons: Haven't found one yet more

Roto-Rooter Service 11/14/2009

The service man was very courteous and knowledgeable about my problem. He took some extra time to show me exactly what needed to be done to have the floor reinforced (a service Roto-Rooter does not do) before they could come back and complete the job. He scheduled service so he could come back and finish the job since he was aleady familiar with the problem. I felt very comfortable knowing my problem would be fixed right. Great place for emergency sewer clogs 10/24/2009

Quick to respond and major repairs in one day including inspection. Priority scheduling and courtious, clean, and professional workers. Work was done right the first time! Roto-rooter serive 10/8/09 I live in an older home, in Clintonville the drain in the basement started to back up at 9:30pm on Thursday night. I went to Roto rooter's website, thinking I could call and get an appointment for the next day, but to my surprise they could come out that night at no extra charge!!! Erik P was at my house within 15 min!!! He was professional and extremely respectful of me and my home. He cleaned the drain out and was on his way by 11:00pm!!!! Thank you Erik!! And thank you Roto-Rooter!!! more

Both times we've had roto-rooter come to fix our kitchen drain, they have been wonderful. The job is messy, though, so empty out the under sink cabinet before the technician starts the job. Roto-Rooter Service 9/16/09 - We had been trying to get a local plumber out for a few weeks to break up and remove an old concrete sink in our basement, but he never showed up when he was supposed to - so after our previous positive service experience, we called Roto-Rooter. We were very impressed with how quickly the worker was able to get to our house, particularly before a holiday weekend. He was very respectful of our time and property, and we appreciated that there was not an additional charge due to the lack of an available building inspector on the Friday afternoon before a 3-day weekend.
