I would never recommend this place to anyone and have even talked people out of going there.
My first experience was using a gift certifcate for a pre-wedding massage for myself and my mother. When we arrived they had somehow lost our appointment and we would have to go in shifts, that was if they could find someone else to come in, in order to get our massages done. Since we did not have the time to wait to see if they could get someone in and had other things to attend to later that day, we decided to not stay and were offered $10 off our next visit. Which if you are first time customer, you can get that same discount so really it was no compensation there. I wasn't looking for a lot of compensation but how do you lose an appointment that you confirmed a few days before.
We made a second appointment after the wedding and had our massages. As promised we got our $10 off per person. The only problem was that since I was dissatisifed with the way the service had been handled before, I ended up burning the $100 I had left on the gift certifcate on product that I didn't need because I never wanted to make a trip back to this salon.
Second time I went there, not by choice, was for my best friend's wedding. We went to get manicures. Again, they botched the appointments and there were only three of us on a Friday afternoon. The bride and another friend were able to get started but I had to wait. Not only that, but she didn't do exactly the same services that other two women had, and because now we were almost an hour behind schedule, I couldn't take the time to explain it to her to get it done the right way. The salon needs to make sure that the services are done the same across the board. The salon did give us $5 off for the inconvenience.
And to the person who posted about complaints being typical, I would love to know where you work because if I pulled this at my job, I would be in hot water.
Pros: Service was okay nothing spectacular
Cons: Horrible with keeping appointments
